Adoring your reactions to them! It’s so crazy to me how well you are able to predict the future here, they have been opening concerts with clap for YEARS! I wanted to add that the crossed arms move they do at the very beginning before they all go down is their 17 hand sign, which they do for their greeting. It’s so fun to see how they build up self-referential motifs through their career. I’m avoiding spoilers, but I really hope you are planning on watching their dance practices for their Japanese releases too! I love your observations on their collaborative vibe too! Now that I think about it, I do notice a lot of other groups seem to have features that feel more isolated, like they are thinking “and now it’s my part” rather than maintaining that synergy with the larger piece. It’s a real testament to seventeen’s values as performers and understanding of one another that they can do it every time! You are so good at explaining things that give me new appreciation for their work!

What?! You’re kidding!! I feel so proud of myself haha! If you could include a list of their Japanese releases (that are exclusive to Japan) as well as when they were released, I can get them added in for you!

Most playlists should already have them in there, but their Japanese releases include CALL!CALL!CALL! Released in 2018, Happy Ending in 2019, Fallin’ Flower in 2020, 24H also 2020, Hitorijanai in 2021, and Dream from last year! I also don’t know if you wanted to do any special subunit choreo’s, but if there’s any space in your roster for Flower and My I, those both came out in 2017! Flower was choreographed by the maknae, Dino, and I think it should be watched for full context before fallin’ flower. My I is a duet between the two Chinese members, so it is very cool to see their unique styles and it has a gimmick that I would love to see your reaction to! I would personally recommend watching the Korean version, since it looks like they filmed it in accordance to that cadence, which the Chinese version possibly being dubbed over those shots, but it is up to you!

They sneaked in a bit of sign language in this choreo as well ! The rotating/shaking hands they do towards the end of the chorus (when they say "baksu" right before they actually clap) is the actual sign for "clap" in many languages.

I'd agree with you about their old tracks not aging well for their performances if the debut songs like Adore U were not still on the most recent concert setlists, same quirky choreo and high energy and all lol! (Though the part where Woozi jumps on Mingyu's back, you can tell a that was a 26 year old and not an 18 year old by the way Mingyu winced when he did it lmao). Maybe they'll retire it when they are in their 30s though haha

this was so cool I never noticed the locking mechanism on this choreo only the popping fresno when I first watched years ago! it’s nice looking back with your marathons and having more knowledge on dance now . I recently learned about the give me five and I screamed when u mentioned it ! You catch variations so easily this one with the Steve Martin influence & same with their left & right choreo with the kangsta wok LIKE AHHH!!
