i actually really liked prowdmon’s but i agree with everything you said! it truly was such a big risk for them and i don’t think a lot of people liked the choice they made here unfortunately :(

Yeah that was what the context of the show eliminations were telling me 😭 I’m low key glad I saw this for the first time when I reacted to all the crews as a “crew preview” and this was what they did for their studio choom version!

I honestly think Koreans just weren’t ready for this performance. Culturally for sure then you add the language barrier and it’s recipe for disaster. I was so sad because as soon as I saw their performance I was emotional for two reasons one because it really is moving considering how drag queens aren’t accepted in Korea but also bc I knew they’d be eliminated. Especially because other crews had more famous people and they chose to feature only one queen. I was sooo upset 😭💔

They ran the risk but I've been in that position to take on a risk and not receiving the benefit of that risk regardless of how it's scored. I think for Monika, they did exactly what they intended on doing which was exposing the korean perspective of dance in this way. And I think they did a pretty good job!

I think for Monica, because she have been dancing for decades, she doesn't do cliche performances and values artistic approach compared to winning or conforming to trends and I respect her so much for it.
