i dont have time to say alot atm (edit i ended up saying alot) but i do want to give insight on public opinion at the time of this episode bc i do think it is VERY relevant to the future episodes. I was on YT, Korean Forums/Newsletters, TikTok and Twitter so these are the platforms i have my perspective on. at this time public sympathy for LOONA was in full complete swing. consistent viral tweets and tiktoks, amazing articles on Korean news sites. Super positive responses in the YT comments and the most viewed performance. Insane international virality even getting a shout out from Cardi B. She had been tweeting about her song or performance around that time also called Shake It and my friend replied to her with the link to LOONA's performance and she responded which i think is gunna be spotlighted in episode 5 lolllllllll mnet was quick to edit that into the episode. Their cover also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart. first song from both seasons of Queendom, Kingdom and Road to Kingdom to achieve this feat (orbits me included DO NOT PLAY). another person getting lots of praise is Hyolyn still riding the wave of round 1 insane love on all performances. Virality all around for her. BUT theres something else there was well... Hidden motes of "resentment?" almost or maybe "annoyance." You know the feeling of competing with someone and they constantly get first place at first its congratulations but the longer it lingers it becomes almost animosity. and you know kpop stans and how competitive they get, even tho they arent the ones participating they are the ones voting so they get this kind of pseudo win. Hyolyn is well loved idol in almost all spheres of the kpop fandom as shes hailed as one of the best vocalists of the 2nd gen as well as a former member of very well loved Sistar. but even still there are seeds of annoyance that shes constantly in first place regardless of if she deserves it or not so watch for that in the future episodes. on the opposite side of the spectrum is Brave Girls while not technically last in the first round. out of the 5 voted on performances they were indeed last. and round 2 last again so around this time there's this kinda of collective pity that's flowing thru the audience. whats interesting is that it isn't pity of awww they're so bad and in last but rather this kind of defiant energy almost(?) people are mad that they are ranking low when considering overall performance with vocals they should be ranking higher. while post production editing has a lot to do with it (something ill get into some other comment) people REEEEEEALLY loved the MVSK performance. so bc u can vote for 2 people majority of viewers were either Loona Wjsn Kepler or Viviz fans (as the fandoms for Hyolyn and BG are kind of small) so the second vote always used to go to preference. and u can kinda see the free vote start to float around away from Hyolyn and towards Brave girls. i hope this give some insight to prepare u for the future episodes.

Kevin you are a GOD SEND! You guys are truly the reason I am able to go into these episodes with the headspace that I have! God I hope to be able to be of help as a “middle ground” of sorts for rtk2 because with all the craziness that has happened in these shows, I want to be of help 😂😂 so happy for LOONA and getting all of their love!!!!!

wait i just remembered. “Director” Ha from Loona is Yves who was the one Chaeyeon invited onto Want’s street woman fighter mega crew mission. along with Yoojung from ioi and Youngji which i think u just reacted to her mv with DO. im not sure if u mentioned this or not

I didn't see this!! With SWF season 1 I have learned that I ended up missing a lot of who was in what MC because I didn't watch the episodes! I hope for future franchise seasons I try to take a better look!!
