2024-05-12 09:35:29 I just wanted to say how much I appreciate your videos and how much joy they bring me, I get so excited when I get a notification for them! I absolutely love the way that you educate your viewers about dance. You always try your best to make yourself clear and understandable to people, no matter how much previous knowledge that they may have of dance. Your positivity and good energy is infectious and even when you are giving constructive criticism or making notes on how things could be changed or improved, it never comes off as rude or arrogant and it's always so much fun to listen to you. Thank you for creating such amazing content and letting us share in your love of dance ❤️ I think because Hope on the Street is what J-hope called his freestyle sessions, he kind of wanted this series to reflect that freedom and appreciation of dance. I do agree that the styles of dance could have been more clearly shown so as not to confuse people, but I think rediscovering his love of dance was really the main purpose of this and sharing that joy that he feels with ARMY.

OMG TAYLOR!!! This made my day I swear! I feel so loved and encouraged by your words and it truly means a lot that I am able to be helpful and a positive contribution to the Kpop world through dance! I will continue to take your words deeply as a reminder of why I make content and o touch on what you mentioned about intention of Jhope within the documentary, I am starting to get that similar feeling about why it's structured the way it is. It's a beautiful way to celebrate dance and the influence of it within jhope's movement quality and it also allows for him to grow through rediscovering why he fell in love with dance in the first place! The future episodes I will try to keep that mindset at the forefront as to try to see the episode in a light more accurate to jhope's intention!

I’m just having the time to watch this, and I must say, I love your little squeals when you see something you like. I actually do the same. I also love hearing about your experience as a dance teacher and what it brings to your life, it helps us “Jess” Patreon fans know and understand your perspectives better. In this episode, I think j-hope displayed a little more of the dance style named for this episode; but I agree, I think carrying it through the entire episode a little more would have helped a few of us (me) understand all the dance styles better. One thing though, when j-hope said all he learned as a young man didn’t seem to help him when he was learning choreography for BTS… well, he’s humble. BUT, I know how much he helped the other members who really didn’t have much of a dance foundation learn how to dance. He used to stay up until all hours of the night holding special dance sessions to teach them how to dance. He could have only done that WITH all he learned as a young kid dancing with NEURON and others along the way. It set the foundation to learn to learn, if that makes sense. Learning to learn can be challenging if you don’t have an open mind and heart. J-hope is never afraid to learn and I think all those years dancing as a kid helped to set that foundation… which helped him to learn and master BTS choreography. Ok… that’s my two cents. Thank you AGAIN Jess!

YES TO SO MUCH THAT YOU STATED! Especially the quote" Learning the learn" because that can be SO hard a lot of times. Love ALL the two cents you share and I can't wait to hear more from you!! He did a great job with this style and I hope he does it more in the future!
