Yes, I’ve seen this episode 3 times now, and I get teary-eyed each time Hak-nam tells j-hope that he remembers him as this kid with a twinkle in his eye who asked so many questions. What I love is that j-hope has stayed humbled and loyal to those who taught him, and what better way to honor them than to highlight their influence in this docu-series. I loved hearing you describe a similar experience you had as a teacher, I could hear the emotion and sincerity. Your students are so, so lucky to have you. It’s so important to build a foundation of trust and confidence when teaching because that foundation will stay with them not only through dance, but through their life. That’s why we always remember those special, most impactful teachers in our lives.
