Omg so glad you got to go through this journey! Even with being spoiled, I’m really glad you found so much to like in the other groups! Along with the Boyz, I have been a casual fan of Pentagon and have taken a liking to ONF and I absolutely adore what they did on the show! I definitely want to dive deeper into ONF’s stuff and the other groups as well! Also I was cracking up at the amount of vamping they had to announce the winner, ofc our tearful Eric would cry even after all that! I feel like you were trying to say Q while saying Key but I still think that’s a win, you’re brain is probably exploding with names at this point! I also wanted to note since you mentioned wondering who the leader was in tbz that the first speaker after Tbz won was their leader, Sangyeon! He is focused on vocals and if you hear any crazy runs or ad-libs it’s likely him or New, though other members have their moments too! Absolute powerhouse, I believe you’ll hear a lot more of his live singing during KLW!

When you're watching Kingdom and see a shot of a member of The Boyz crying, half the time it will be Eric. He's the self-proclaimed crybaby of The Boyz and it shows.

ONF's intro for new world was actually all clips from their previous MVs! It ties into their lore which is hard to pin down with an exact story but there's humans vs androids, and a lot of time travel scifi cyberpunk stuff going on, lol. RTK pretty much saved ONF's career even though they didn't win and go on KLW. They had a big jump in sales for their first comeback after the show, and their following comeback after that did really well and has even been covered by other idols on survival programs. They doubled their discography in 2021. They're still super underrated though, especially among international fans. Their momentum got halted a bit since the Korean members enlisted at the end of 2021, but fortunately they all enlisted together so it ended up being the shortest enlistment era/hiatus of boy groups and they finished last year! They even pre-recorded an album to release while they were on hiatus so the wait felt even shorter.
