Fanime weekend + end of print claim (Patreon)

Not gonna believe the hell we went thru to get to San Jose. 

We got into a wreck, we're okay, my shins are a little busted, but it was the other parties fault, so hopefully it works out well for us.

We could still drive the car away, but the time loss did cause us to miss our flight, which meant that we might have had to pay for a change in flight. Luckily we were technically on TIME for our flight but it left 20 minutes early (which...is really rare LOL) so the airline comped us replacement tickets for 7 am the next morning.....

We really didnt wanna buy a hotel for the night and ubers to and from them... and have to go thru security AGAIN, so we decided...lets just stay in the terminal- it'll be an adventure!.....It was surreal hahah...terminal 3 has ruined me.

So we ended up not sleeping all night because apparently the lights and announcements never go off in an airport, and the cleaning crew uses industrially loud machines and don't even care if they get so close to your sleeping head that you get sprayed with chemicals. *cries*

But we got to San Jose around 9 am, then got the rental car and dragged ourselves to our friends place to shower then go straight to the first day of the convention. The plan was to have a whole night of rest before diving right in but...I didnt pay for a full weekend to miss a whole day. LBH.

Ultimately we were all a little cranky the first day but after a decent nights rest the rest of the weekend went nicely! I got to see a few patreon turned friends and people I met last year at the con itself. It was lovely! 

Then I spent too much supporting other artists! The circle of life haha!

Im gonna take it easy just working on penciling Jamie for the rest of the week and catching up on commissions till Saturday then Ill be full time on Jamie for good. I'm hoping that I can earn a influx of new patreons in a few months so I can avoid getting a dayj ob, but we'll just see how that plays out! 

As for the prints that were up for grabs, I hope you got a chance to claim yours - the form is closed and Ill be ordering and mailing them out asap, hopefully by the end of the first week of June!
