Update: June 2022 (Patreon)

Hello my loveable lads and ladies and everybody beyond and in between,

I hope June has been a great one for you.  Though it has been busy it has treated me quite kindly.  😊  Probably just the calm before the storm though.  lol

As I warned about in the last update July is looking like it is going to be busy and complicated for your favorite writer.  (Second favorite?  Third!?  Top ten???  Aw, come on!  *sighs*  😋 )  Anyway, July is looking like it is going to be crazy busy and complicated for this writer.  I was very tempted to put the Patreon on pause next month but in the end I think I will try to keep things rolling.  I'll do my best to soldier through July as best I can but be forewarned that July might be a light month content wise.  The last half of July in particular looks like pure chaos.  Things should ease off come August and definitely by September.  It is only fair to warn you all before you pay for the upcoming month.

Son for Hire continues on.  Is this story EVER going to end!?  lol  I'm still having fun with it though.  I hope you are too.  Jo White has been a really enjoyable surprise.  While it is definitely the secondary serial right now I think it's got a lot of potential and I'd like to keep tapping away at it.  Werewoman is taking me much longer to finish than I thought it would, apologies for that.  Writing two serials at once, with Jo White's chapters being longer to boot, has definitely slowed everything down a bit.  One or two more chapters and Werewoman will be complete.  After that I have SO MANY short stories I'd like to work on.  Ahhh, to have infinite time and energy.

I've really enjoyed the polls this month.  Thank you all so much for voting in them.  It's always a fun way to shake things up.

Looking forward I definitely have some aspects I'd like to work on outside of simply writing.  Oh how I wish I could JUST write.  I need to decide whether to just make my peace as a kinky hobbyist writer or really push to grow and make writing my real income earner.  If I opt for the latter I need to figure out how in the hell I actually do that.  Go more mainstream?  Go even further into the fringes?  More focus on one story at a time?  Spread myself even thinner and try for more?  Shift to books?  Shift to a platform that allows more taboo stuff?  More free stuff?  Less free stuff?  Etc, etc, etc.  Any suggestions would be welcomed.  One thing I'll probably do for sure is take some of the Patreon only shorts and spiff them up to sell over on Smashwords.  We'll see what the future brings.
