It’s a part of the job, when you’re part of The Game. Assets are taken by Agents, and Contracts detail the Protocols when freedom is no longer your own. When taken on a Contract, you’re just a number. For the Agents, their Clients are just unpaid credits in their accounts. Everyone’s playing their role, and a job should never become personal. But sometimes, someone fucks up. Someone forgets one of the rules, or decides to ignore them. An Agent can find themselves torn between a Contract, the Client’s requirements, and the safety of a helpless Asset or two caught up in the middle. When shit goes sideways, what should’ve been just another job can quickly turn into a whole lot more...”
