Pixiv Announcement Drama

Alright, let's start with the drama. For those unaware Pixiv recently announced they're going the patreon route and will be disallowing any paid-to-access content to contain certain themes which unfortunatley beast content is covered.

The langueage is of course vauge and how far-reaching is open for interpretation. I'll just post a snipbit here:

Originally I thought it was just about minors and we were pretty in-the-clear as nothing I make is explicitly for that, it's just a size difference. I know there are many people who use it for larger-scaled men/creatures. However the 'no beast' clause makes it a lot more difficult.

I am still somewhat hopefull there's a way to navigate through this. Based Baka-sama is still kicking on Patreon afterall despite what he does. I'll likely need to be pretty thorough as I don't know how strict Pixiv is going to be, and I'm sure there are going to be some hostile actors making noise to Pixiv staff about me; I'm sure everyone is aware how hateful a lot of the people in the Skyrim community can be.

Anyway that all being said, my current plan will to to kind of follow Baka's actions and essentially will agressivley self-censor. I'll remove all images within the fomod at least for the time being just to be thorough as I imagine even bound humans will be a 'no-no'. I won't post links to any potentially 'dangerous' previews, or maybe just none at all for the time being. My off-site mod pages are open to be culled of images and descriptions as well. Also while it pains me and I thought I'd never have to be in this situation again, but I'll be culling all my post history as well just to have a clean slate.

However all of the above said, I imagine it would be naive and foolish not to look at hosting on another sub site as well. I'm not really familiar with what is cool, but Subscribe Star is a good contender as I'm sure many Skyrim lewders are at least familiar with it.

On a personal note this is pretty sad to see. Who'dve thought a Japan-based company would elect/be forced into this. Seems like they'd be culling a large portion of their income with this. But I guess that's preferable over the payment processors leaving and then they don't have any income. There's a popular theory floating around that this had been spurred on by a lot of real-life depictions of the acts they've mentioned filling the website, but of course nobody can confirm that.

Progress Report

Onto the current progress, which adding onto the bad news hasn't been overly fruitful this week, but I think there's still time to get at least most of it done. There'd never be a good time for this stuff to happen, but man was it ever a horrible time to drop this on my plate as well as everything else going on for me right now. Murphy's law and whatnot I guess.

So far I finished the last lesbian bound animation, and put some more work into the werewolf 5p. There's still some conversions to do, but otherwise humans are done for the month and I'll focus on finishing the 5p for sure as group nisms are in short-supply and will work on seeding in two other more basic creature animations if possible.

As mentioned above I'll avoid posting any previews for the time-being, but they'll be avilable at the normal location.
