Finished the retopo on my model though. Trying to figure out eyes now. I want them to be even prettier in 3D than I draw them in 2D.

Once that's done, I've found an addon that makes the creation of hair cards much easier than individually posing every clump. Skin texturing shouldn't be a problem once I figure out how to make a normal map, and then I can hack her head onto a template body and adjust it to her proportions, then rig it all and put her in a guillotine.


I considered fully modeling a custom body without using a base mesh. I've done that once, but the body didn't turn out too appealing, and I want Aleya to be sexy. So I'm going with a Daz body like the rest of the industry. But I'm at least hand-painting the textures.


I also need to model some rocks and a magic-themed guillotine, but those seem so easy in comparison to a character model that I figure they'll make a nice break when I'm done.
