Mizuha helmet 3D printed! (Pixiv Fanbox)

Hello!

Besides adding creating mods to make the characters look better and to make the colorable and stuff, one of my main reasons was to make the models 3D printable, and for now I can say that I was able to at least print one of the accessories.

To print it I had to edit the orginal mesh and remove things like the visor. The result looks decent, but because I did not consider how thin were the lower parts of the helmet, it is very fragile there and it looks really messy too. For my next attempt I'd like to make that part thicker.

I'd like to paint it, but for that I would have to research on which paints are the best for PLA, once I paint it, I'll share some more pictures here.

I also wanted to show how the helmet looks on a figurine, but because I have none, I can't, maybe if I ask a friend they might be able to lend me one, for next time I might use of my old Bionicles lol.

I'm not so sure how many of you are interested about 3D printing, so if you are, please let me know! I'm still learning how to do it so if you are looking forward to awesome results, please consider that I'm still learning.

I'll release the gcode for my supporters (if they are interested in 3D printing it themselves) once I improve the final result.
