Sketch page of (horny) magical girls Cleo and Chaeri from this weekend! I think I want to render some of these poses....🤔 And on an unrelated update: most of you should have gotten a message from me about a folder I'm putting together of exclusive, old art! I'm hunting down some of my very first NSFW drawings in dusty old sketchbooks and ancient computer files as a thank you for being the first 20 people to support me. Hopefully it'll be fun (and interesting!?) to have context for the porn I draw now 😆 and see some of the progress I've made over the years! I'll DM a drive link once the folder is prepared, so look out for it this month!

I'm really curious about how they developed this romantic relationship and will you draw or tell their story in the future?

HD

I don't have a very solid storyline for them, just a general idea about their dynamic and some background info... so I don't wanna limit myself to one story. But I plan on posting some little comics here to reveal more of their relationship😊 it's just... I always just wanna draw them fucking 😩 loool. In the "canon" I've thought of for them they have a lot of emotional and sexual tension as a result of a shady upbringing, but in the end they would ultimately keep their relationship familial and help each other come to terms with their difficult childhood. I'll edit some of the disjointed text I've written for them to a blog post~

im working on facial expressions currently. its very hard! do you got any advice?

HD

I think what has helped me other than practice is looking at how other people shorthand their expressions. I study the ones i like (or just save them and look at them a lot lol) and then I try doing it my own way without the reference. It depends on what your drawing style is, but IMO good expressions look best when they are very gestural and drawn intuitively 🤔 so allowing yourself to make some awkward and stiff looking studies in order to learn is key. Another thing is faces are so instantly recognizable that a detail can really make or break an expression, so sometimes it's best to remove some stuff and let the brain fill in the gaps. If you have a lot of unnecessary details, try editing down and removing some information while keeping the flow of your lines. And lastly, having some foundational knowledge on how a face moves will take you most of the way there 😄 feel how your muscles move when you smile and frown as you draw, it helps!
