Simplyfying Tiers & Lower prices (Pixiv Fanbox)

I'm currently experiencing a drastic drop of subscribers and also the inconsitency of certain packages I offer which may is caused by the packages or prices I offer. Like the "Basic" package only have one subscriber the others are a mixed bag. Also the prices I added when I opened my fanbox are "today" maybe a bit too high to gather new subscribers.

I think it's the best compromise of that is if I simplyfying the prices and tiers to only 2 packages: Basic & Premium.

That means my whole fanbox needs to be re-worked and some of you may need to resubscribe if I change the tiers. I don't know how Fanbox will behave if I delete a tier to add another one. Editing tiers is however not possible.

One big question for you are surely the prices and the new Tiers: I think that it couln't be worse as it is right now, since I'm so low on funds like never before. I simply can keep the current prices for the packages Basic and lower the price for Premium like this:

► Basic: 250 JPY - Will contain: Drawings, Sketches, Polls, Hi-Res pics, WIPs and Early access and all that...

► Premium: 450 JPY - Will contain: Alternations, Archives, Full color comic pages and Source files

Besides the packages "Plus" and "Top-Tier" will be depricated and deleted after the change. Subscribers to this tier may have to resubscribe to the new price structure. The price of "Premium" will be lowered to 450 instead before 520 JPY but subscribers of the current Premium packages maybe also need to resubscribe to the new price model.

The pro's for you are now you'll get more value for the same or lower price.

This is a drastic change and means I need to make new thumbnails for the most of the posts. I will keep the thumbnails this time very simple without bright colors and all that eyecandy. A simple thumbnail thats all.

I also will move the files to another server. The current server where the files are became quite unreliable for some reason because it has a lot of timeouts recently. I will move the files to my CDN-Server which is faster and has a better uptime.

All that needs time to change so you might experience a few errors in the time I change everything to the new system.

The first step of that plan will be the move to the new file server to make the whole download thingy much faster and without anyoing timeouts.

I will write a new blog entry if the whole fanbox is switched to the new system.
