I think it is too early to make any changes so I won't do anything for now. But worse come to worse, I already have Patre0n, Subscribestar and Gumroad so you can always see me there. You can find link to them all in my Twitter and preview posts in Pixiv.
About the announcement itself, it's not a surprise to me because Patre0n already did it few years ago, and I almost got kicked out of there. However, creators with borderline offending content was able to get around it by posting safe content on the site while sending the "uncensored" content via link and private message and either that is ok or just avoids detection. This is still how I and many others operate Patreon.
Meanwhile, Subscribestar, Gumroad, Enty/Fantia, DLSite continues to be okay with accepting international cards so I don't know what's the deal with Pixiv. I know that Paypal is NEVER okay with adult content which is why I am surprised you can use it here. I am willing to move out of Paypal if it is the problem. Patre0n, by the way, uses "Payoneer".
Maybe credit card companies were not aware of these adult sites, however this exact same issue happened to OnlyFans and P0rnhub like last year. Interestingly, OnlyFans reverted the decision literally days after the announcement without any change because they "were able to reach an agreement with the payment providers". Now you can continue using cards on there (Not me wishing the same thing happen here, but who knows). P0rnhub did crack down really hard (and XTube, which I use is gone) but this is another case because real people were involved.
Gumroad also used to reject all adult content, however somehow after a couple of years it became fully okay with adult content. Of course, many people put safe previews as a cover and the adult content as a zip file inside, so that would be very hard to detect.
Meanwhile Hiccears uses a built-in currency system so you can just buy the currency to do the transactions in the site. I think this is the best option because payment providers cannot control what you purchase with those currency in the site. Another alternative is those code cards like BitCashEX (not the crypto) which people can buy from overseas, I have been using that for Digiket. (I do have Hiccears, but I haven't been updating it for a while)
I won't be deleting anything on my page for now because they say they will take care of that for me when the time comes. You may wanna backlog my posts now however you can easily access all of them in Patre0n/Substar too.
Honestly as for the "prohibited content", it is really always up to interpretation. Of course the biggest one is "young looking characters" (l/s). I personally have been gradually making my character look older, but who can determine if a fictional character is a minor? a 14y/o and 20y/o can easily look the same even in real life, let alone with artistic style choices. Then there's non-con, which some argue includes all peril situation (monster, tentacles, kidnapping, bondage), which is funny because peril fetishes came from mainstream action/thriller/horror media where kids see heroes getting beaten up publicly, should we ban those too? How is a person getting beaten to death in a movie better than a person getting beaten to sexual climax? And of course bestiality can be interpreted to include the entire furry content, but how do you deal with furry with human body?
With all these ambiguity it seems crackdown will be sporadic and probably relies on user report like it does in Patre0n/Twitter, and I'm sure nobody report things here. Afterall how are they going to sift through the millions of such content and deliberate on every single one of them? Maybe they will use automatic AI detector an become a circus like Tumblr. Ultimately none of this should matter for fiction. Like what, where's the victim that's gonna come up to report the "abuse"?
And even the wording is ambiguous. "Transactions" doesn't include Fanbox, because Fanbox, like Patre0n is a support site, it's more of you buying a ticket to get in. The "transaction" is only for the ticket, what happens inside is none of the payment processor's control.
For all these reasons I really doubt what is really going to happen once the time comes. Ultimately I always have alternatives, because I have been through this many times before (RIP Y!Gal, Tumblr, GearFetish, XTube). Moving is always tricky, but the lost media is always the biggest tragedy which is why I backlog people's work diligently whenever I can and make sure people can do the same with mine too.
My thoughts are with the Japanese creators who haven't been through this before although we do have Enty/Fantia or Digiket/DLSite. It's just such a shame because Fanbox is such a great integrated option to follow Pixiv artists.
So until the date 15th of December I will continue using this site as normal. When the shit hits the fan, if I'm gone you know where to find me. Now I will just go learn how to use Enty/Fantia.
