Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (199) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Good afternoon all, Scriptor here with the latest dev news! ^^

Game development

I’ve completely implemented the first day task of the serving route, which sees Kathleen taking care of Violet’s ponies: It also comes with a (very) small puzzle, since there are a few fillies which will need placating before Kathleen can wash them… Though she technically can also try to have a go without doing this, with “mixed results”. >.;3

I’ve also done some more dialogue/mechanical stuff: Mainly tying all the introduction and first day task events together and the daily “evaluation” done by Violet, which ties into her associated bad ends (if her min/max opinion is met). That said, a good bit of work remains before the update’s ready (the other two day tasks and the “grand escape” which marks the ending the serving route), so I’m starting to become a bit unsure if I can meet the planned release date of V0.27.1 on coming Sunday for Tier III….

Before people start sharpening their pitchforks: if I plan to postpone the release (and that’s still an “if”!), it will be to Friday the 25th of August; so 5 days after the originally planned release. Reason for doing so would be to make sure that everything is implemented, polished and “complete”, so that once V0.27.1 is out Thornvine’s also truly done and over. That way we can move onto the next VR-world in V0.28.1 without having to worry about any major loose ends/gaps left from a rushed V0.27.1 release.

I’ll give the final word about this in the dev update coming Wednesday, as it will heavily depend on how fast I manage to implement in the other two day tasks. Fingers crossed this is just me being overly cautions (again). 🤞

More pony teasers; this time around of the pony events implemented into the game! Kathleen will meet both fillies who are quite eager for a small brush, and some who are a lot less pleased… Best see if you can find some carrots or something first before trying anything with Temper, because she sure lives up to her name! >;3

And another teaser of the pony fail-state; Violet ready for another “scenic walk” with her ponies!
