Game development

I’ve made the base rubber plant assets in Blender & DAZ last Friday, and am currently in the process of rendering the images: I’m very happy with how the plant pod turned out, both from a aesthetic perspective as well as a modelling one. It carries a bit of a vibe between “extraterrestrial” and those carnivorous plants you find in the middle of the jungle (though those are usually “a bit” smaller than these, at least all the documented ones haha). ^^


Heck, I was so happy with the thing that I even went as far as slapping on a base armature (rig) and some shape-key onto the thing in Blender as well, even though it was meant as a “throw-away” prop for DAZStudio. Was some more good practice into Blender’s weight-painting and rigging systems, and it means the thing might be used in some sort of animation one day… After I’ve finished up the current one that is (more about that down below).


Anyhow, the plan for the coming three days is to finish up the rubber plant pod renders, make the custom sprite-work for the thing and slap it all into the game. I’m also aiming to finish up the last of the Primrose mini-game rooms, so that the rest of the week can be used for the trophy room trap. I’m feeling something vacuum-ey for that… 💪

Animation side-project: Cumpdump doll Judy!

So as I’ve said in the last Sunday dev blog post, I’ve rubbed my whole two braincells together and started diving into the process of exporting stuff from DAZStudio to blender, as well as learning how to animate inside Blender. I feel like I’ve got a grasp at the (bare minimum) basics now, and to get my feet wet I want to get started on an actual project (instead of test reels), so to start off simple: For the first animation side-project we’ll be getting a glimpse into what happened to Judy after she got turned into a cumdump doll, and shipped off to her new owner. >;3


The project is still very much in the initial stages; I’ve used this weekend to import all the base character assets and make sure all the cloth, soft-body and collision simulations were working as intended (god was that mind-numbing work). Though I’m happy to report that I’ve succeeded in this; and besides slapping on a basic IK-rig for the dick bones (to make it nice and floppy during animating), both the cumdump doll and dude using said doll are ready for use. 💪


Next up for the animation project will be setting up the scene where the action takes place; some grungy run-down cyberpunky apartment is what I’ve in mind. It will have to wait till Saturday though; as I’ve said before No escape will remain my primary focus, so work on the animation stuff is a tad slower than it is on the game. However I (at least) wanted to let you guys know that I’m cooking something up on the animation front as well, so yeah. Busy days! ;3 ^^

First up today is a teaser of the strange plants found inside Thornvine’s greenhouse! Quite the uncommon (and unseemly) sight, Kathleen can’t help but look a bit closer…

WHY am i thinking of an Anthro Horse Ass when seeing that Hole?XD
