Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (167) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Good afternoon people, Scriptor here with the latest dev news! ^^

Game development

I’ve put in the entire Thornvine estate intro together with some of the code for the slave maid regular enemy: The intro in Thornvine Estate is a bit more bombastic and extensive than normal for a VR-world, but besides setting the right vibe/tone for the place, it’s also important since I wanted to give players access to a shop/doctor while they’re going through the place. After all, no fun is to be had in arriving at the place and quickly realizing you’ve got no healing items in your inventory… and no way to get new ones! 😜

Luckily Kathleen meets two old acquaintances from the desert VR-world quite early on the combat path: The pair is quite eager to stick it to Violet, so they’ll be doing their best to help Kathleen through the estate (albeit through a special system, you’ll see it in-game). Besides this I’ve also implemented part of the Slave maid regular enemy: Goal is to finish this code come tomorrow, and start filling a few sections of Thornvine with these rubber-clad obstacles. Afterwards I’ll be tackling Primrose’s battle code and bad end. 💪

Teasers

Another snipper of Thronvine Estate in-game, this time the undercroft. Having barely escaped Violet’s wraith, Kathleen will need to find her way out of this place first.

Luckily she’ll quickly meet her old acquaintances from the desert VR-world, Imran and doctor Goodberg! Captured by the Blackmond family after Rose’s disappearance, they’ve quite a rough time behind them… And are quite eager to stick it to Violet because of this. As such they’re happy to help Kathleen with her escape; acting as the merchant/doctor of the place.

And the finally a teaser of the maid slave battle in-game: Lurking on the ground floor of the estate, it might be best for Kathleen not to find out what ‘processing’ exactly entails! :0
