Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (132) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Heya all, Scriptor here with the Sunday news bulletin!

Game development

Progress in the past few days has been very good, and I’m almost done with implementing the final event of the third day’s task. In an effort to get the beta done in a timely manner (with room to test before the Tier III release coming Sunday) I’ve been crunching away in the past few days on the second and third day’s task. A bit too hard as it turns out, because not only the second day’s task is fully in the game, but most of the third as well. I expect to finish the remainder of the stuff for the third day’s task tomorrow together with the side-quest’s end, do some (heavy) polishing on it all, and start play-testing the finished update. ^^

Release date of V0.24.1 remains standing at Sunday the 27th of November for Tier III. But if everything goes well, and there aren’t a lot of bugs/things that need revision, I might drop the update a day or two earlier. ;3

Anyhow that’s the most important news, now let’s chat about the third day’s event! On the third day Kathleen’s tasked with finding ‘the hacker’ amongst the test subjects. There has been some weirdness going on lately in the R&D section of the factory, and S.O.P.H.I.A.’s pretty sure one of the test subjects is to blame… Only the little cretin has (miraculously) managed to avoid S.O.P.H.I.A.’s all seeing eye! As a consequence Kathleen gets the task to “go undercover” between her fellow test subjects to sniff out the bad apple. If Kathleen manages to do this and what her actions will be once she does… Well, that’’ up to you. >;3

Teasers

First up a teaser of the arena combat! Kathleen will be facing off against a few opponents here, and it’s in her best interest not to lose-

Unless she wants to take a dip in that blue goop lining the arena platform! Another test subject shows off what happens if you fall in, so better be careful Kathleen doesn’t end up in the same predicament!

And lastly a teaser of the third day’s event. In an effort to pinpoint the hacker Kathleen has to curry favor with some of the other test subjects… And in some cases literally kiss an ass or two. .;3
