Good night you all, Scriptor here with the latest dev update! ;3

Game development

I’m pleased to report that the conveyor belt enemy & escape sequence are both completely rendered. The escape sequence is 34 images of vacbed fun, followed by an even tighter predicament if Kat doesn’t manage to escape (which will afterwards tie into the assembly line fail-state). >;3

Tomorrow I’ll start working on the second trap/enemy featured in the coming update: It will involve a bridge leading over an abyss and a rather interesting trap that will require Kat to dodge projectiles during the crossing of said bridge. I’ll once again hold off spoiling too much, but for those of you who’ve seen (and can still remember) the first Incredibles movie… you know what you can expect. ^^

I expect the above sequence to be done rather quick (since it’s a quick ‘n dirty one, like with goddesses wine cellar trap), so I’ll also be working on the final enemy planned for the coming update: the factory security drones. Mind you that like with everything in the factory these are kind of special drones… you guys will see what I mean come Wednesday! >;3

Teasers

Some more teasers of the vac-bed escape sequence. Kat will have to wobble to break the maglock holding the vacbed to the rail.

With succeeding leading to a quick get-away like normal-

-and failure with Kat finding out what a “stasis coater” exactly does. >;3

And that’s all for this dev update, see you guys this Wednesday as usual! ^^

Greetz,

Scriptor
