Skin wip (Pixiv Fanbox)

Hello, today I felt like showing you a bit of a real wip! I'm always trying to improve, and the skin is always something I want to get better. So I've been teaching myself how to make better skin, how translucent it is, how reflective it is, and also how rough it can be if you really look at it. Surprisingly, all the changes I've made to the skin are keeping the exact same textures I've been using for the twins for months, I just had to change how I used them, since I now understand their importance and how they influence the overall look. It's still not finished, and I have plenty of changes to make, but I'm hoping to get results better than anything I've ever achieved 😊 The differences are sometimes hard to tell unless you can quickly go back and forth between pictures, but I hope you'll be able to see the biggest changes with the "black" images, those show the reflections, so you can really see how the details are now more pronounced, and how the skin is way less slick. I'm hoping to remake the twins geometry soonish, when Genesis 9 will be mature enough, hopefully I'll be able to export them at a higher definition, and have real HD geometry 😱
