Should I add a front light? I like how cosy it looks in the first picture but we miss a lot of details. In the second picture we see everything but we lose some of that warm and cosy look. In the third and fourth we completely lose the sense of depth, so I think I won't use the front light alone.

I disagree that you loose sense of depth in 3&4. But I do enjoy number 2, then nr 3

We do lose a lot of depth still, it's the reality of having the light so close to the camera, it's a style.

Perhaps strategically-placed fill lights on her? :)

You know I always prefer having a realistic lighting, I already gave her a divine backlight to add some depth and fill the scene. I could add some diegetic lights, but I don't know which ones. It has to help the viewer understand her size. A lightbulb for example.

I was thinking of something derived from noir-style lighting, but less stark. Was just a thought. Perhaps the glow from the halo could be adapted? Who's to say that filling a shot as-needed isn't realistic for a halo? (I can't claim to have earned one myself, so I'm just guessing...) ;)

I don't know, I'd just love to keep the "as real as life" aspect. I like to make things look like they're real, and with an angel/demon/fairy/pixie, I have to put her in a situation where we can admire all the minute details and imagine her being in our own hands, in front of us. Most fairies and micro people look like full size people but just shrunk. But as you may guess, a micro human would look so much different. The light passing through the skin, and all, you would literally see bones through skin, and they would be so soft and fragile. That's important to me. So I have to keep everything as logical as I can :o

I like #2-3. I would let her finish whatever she was doing to my hand. Thanks.

Wide Eyes has as interesting idea coming here... Whatsm if the halo was connected to her arousal? The more aroused she got, the more the halo gkow

That would be interesting if it was animated. For still images, it's hard to tell unless it's overdone.
