I do think the larger balls are a better size. I think using the first joint of the thumb is a good analog for a testicle. So having the sack large enough for two and some wriggle room is appropriate, and the larger depiction accommodates this approximation. From a purely aesthetic perspective the larger sack does leave less empty space between the penis, anus and each thigh. I would suggest a bit more texturing on the balls, as it still is a loose pouch of skin, albeit much less saggy and wrinkly than when fully developed presumably. ( Do you have unfiltered variants of these images? )

It's true it fills the empty space, even if it's just the way it is irl. I'll try to look at the differences in different poses and decide what looks the best
