+110 Sprites, We are very close to the first build! (Pixiv Fanbox)

+110 sprites (the new ones)

It may look like a lot, but it actually means that every girl only has an average of 11 sprites (not counting outfit alts for Lynn, and Lucy, Phone variants for Lori, and Guitar/Headphones variants for Luna, etc...), which isn't optimal from my point of view.

Right now I'm making some more missing expressions that we will need at this part of the game,

I stated playing more adult visual novels recently (For research, no joking lol) to check how many sprites every character had in averge, and I noticed a pattern:

'The fewer amount of sprites variety, it's more common to start skipping dialogue'

It feels like "Ok, everything looks te same, ergo, there is nothing important happening at the moment."

Of course, having a good story and script helps to avoid that and I think it does a really good job on this game.

The good thing

Already coded the placeholder names of the sprites that aren't ready YET (variety on the facial expressions) so just by drawing them is enough.

I'm replacing the old sprites in chapter 1 atm. After fixing that, I will give you what is done so far!

And... how much is done so far?

There were some delays but everything is more normal now. CatSpeaker, the writer just got married and came back from the honeymoon! And I was struggling with the code for the free roam aspect of the game, which sadly took me a lot of time.

Right now there is written, coded and drawn (read: fully completed):

- Intro scene + recapitulation of the first chapter

- Lucy catches Lynn with Lincoln's orange shirt

- Breakfast with everyone, and Lori explaining her "plan" to bring Ronnie and Bobby back in town.

- Lucy scene, (there will be many during this chapter)

- Free roam: Choose to spend time with Lynn or Lisa

- Free roam: Choose to spend time with Lola or Luna

- Spend time with Lola (Related to Lori's plan)

- Placeholder for a minigame to earn money! This will be added in a future, maybe after the full chapter is done.

- Night and Lynn's gift to Lincoln.

I hate to do all this stuff, but it is what it is, SubscribeStar won't accept me soon unless I have LOTS of followers on Twitter or something, and Fanbox is banning/suspending more and more artists for posting looloo if it looks "too realistic", no matter the art style or some bulshit.
