[Journal] Making Pipeline:Map_7 (Pixiv Fanbox)

Map_7 is where player gets outside of the facility(?), to the path to block the waterfall source to unlock the new road.
As waterfall source should be located on the top of the facility, maps concept is focused on "climbing the cliff" kind of situation.
I initially thought designing this map will be finished in very short time. As I thought at the time, the wall designs I already had were all I needed.
Problem had been brought up while I placing the platform to bring the player up to the ceiling. As it doesn't make sence to platforms are just magically floats, I needed to make some structural support to make them in mid-air.
I made the slime to do the trick.
When you imagine some elastic material holding the object, you naturally think the object can be bounce by the external force. I didn't intend it but by designing this platform holding slime I could add the interesting gimmick, and It also magically solve the "not able to reach" problem due to the high gap between each platforms.
The "follower" function that I made accidentally and kept using is now feels like a some kind of an elixir. It just fits so well in every situation.
Anyways, with these bouncy function and the texture distortion used in slimes at map_6, our new map is now functioning.
