Hey everybody!

Weekly update time!

As mentioned last week, I focused solely on finishing the next animation this week. As such, there was not much else done. However, a lot of progress was made for the animation at least!

In summary:

– Did not work on chapter 18 of the MMO series to focus more on the next animation!

– Made a lot of progress on the next animation, almost done!

毎週更新の時間です!

先週も書きましたが、今週はひたすら次のアニメーションを仕上げることに専念しました。そのため、他のことはあまりできませんでした。しかし、少なくともアニメーションの方はかなり進みました！

要約すると:

- MMOシリーズ第18章に手をつけず、次のアニメーションに集中した！

- 次のアニメーションの制作はかなり進み、ほぼ完成しました！

MMO Series Update | MMOシリーズの進歩:

As mentioned last week, I wanted to focus more on finishing the next animation, hence not making any progress in the MMO series this week. In exchange, I’d like to focus 100% on completing these chapters after the animation has been published! Here’s hoping I can make up for this week!

先週も書きましたが、次のアニメを完成させることに集中したかったので、今週はMMOシリーズを全く進めませんでした。その代わり、アニメが公開された後の章を100％完成させることに集中したいと思います！今週の分を取り戻せることを期待しています！

There's only one shot left to outline!

アウトラインはあと1カットしかない！

I pushed everything aside this week to work on this animation as much as I could. Even then, I’ve only managed to finish the outlines only!

All that’s left is to animate the details, add colour, backgrounds, and put it all together! Expect a release within the next few days!

I’ll be sure to add a timelapse video in next week’s weekly update as well!

今週は、このアニメーションを作るために、すべてを押し殺して、全力で取り組みました。それでも、まだアウトラインだけは完成させることができました！

あとは、細部のアニメーションを作り、色や背景を追加して、全部をまとめるだけです！数日中にリリースされる予定です！

来週のウィークリーアップデートでは、タイムラプス動画も追加する予定です！

Warm Ups + Studies | ウォームアップとスタディ:

As I focused almost 100% on finishing the next animation this week, I didn’t practice at all. I'd had hoped that I would be finished by Friday, but alas, I have once again overestimated the amount of work I could've done in a week. Still, we're close to finishing, so I hope to make up for the lack of practice next week!

今週は次のアニメーションを仕上げることにほぼ100％集中していたため、練習は全くしていない。金曜日には完成すると思っていたのですが、またしても1週間でできる仕事量を過大評価してしまったようです。でも、あと少しで完成なので、来週は練習不足を取り戻したいと思います！

Once this fan animation has been published, I think I’ll focus on finishing the MMO chapters for the next few weeks. I do have an idea of what I’d like the next animated project to be (probably a short video with Lu and Puss, or another narrated video), but the focus would be to finish the MMO series first. It’s been almost 2 years since the last release after all. This means that weekly updates may seem lacking for a little bit, but we’ll cross that bridge later.

For now though, we’re finally (almost) done with this fan animation! It only took nearly 3 months, haha! Maybe I’ll stay away from rotoscoping for a while.

このファンアニメが公開されたら、次の数週間はMMOの章を完成させることに集中しようと思うんだ。次のアニメ化プロジェクトはどんなものにしたいかというアイデアはあるのですが（おそらくルゥとプスのショートビデオか、別のナレーション付きビデオ）、焦点はまずMMOシリーズを完成させることでしょう。前作から2年近く経っていますからね。そのため、毎週の更新が少し物足りなく感じられるかもしれませんが、それはまた後日。

とはいえ、このファンアニメはようやく（ほぼ）完成しました！3ヶ月近くかかってしまいましたが...！しばらくはロトスコープを使わないでおこうかな。
