Goodbye (Pixiv Fanbox)

It's been a good five years. I've been through harsh criticisms, copyright takedowns, drama with other creators, style changes, long hours of rendering, and feelings of giving up, but it's led us to where we are now. On one hand, I am sad to close this chapter which has become such an important part of my life. On the other hand, I am filled with gratitude that I was able to learn and grow through this experience. While I've always contemplated the ethics of using other creators' videos directly, I knew we still needed these types of edits. The reason why I started this journey is to put artists first and to create something not many people have seen before. I want to express my heartfelt thanks for the messages you all have left me. Sometimes I may not sound sincere, but I hope you know that I've read all of them and they are what motivates me every day.

The reason I decided to quit is because I want to explore new paths and pursue fresh challenges. These videos take a tremendous amount of time and unfortunately, I'm noticing how little time I have to broaden my skill set and develop my aspirations. However, I didn't want to leave on a cliffhanger, I've seen many music editors disappear without saying a word which is why I wanted to make my last video special. When and if I come back, it won't be another music video, but I'm not completely ruling out the possibility. If I decide to make another edit, it probably won't be as structured as my previous ones.

I don't know when I'll return, could be next month or next year, maybe along the way I'd find something that I'm so passionate about that I won't come back, so I would recommend canceling your subscription if you're expecting new content soon. I will still keep my archives open in case of new subscribers. You're welcome to continue supporting me if you feel like it unless Pixiv tells me to pause or close my Fanbox, then I may have to do so without warning.

Thank you for all the support. I'm hopeful for the future and I'll never forget where I came from. ✌
