Status Update (Pixiv Fanbox)

We wanted to start with apologizing for the lack of content this month, most of the time has gone to creating the Visual Novel 'Phantom of the Rift' from setting up the plot point, and creating key art for the foundation of the VN. But we have not made enough progress for it to be released this month. So we're working on a Witch bodyswap story in a manga format, which we'll try to have posted before the end of the month. (If not, we'll release it later more polished for all to see)

Writing

For the progress of the Visual Novel, the writing process is being hindered by too much overthinking causing us to be slower than we want. The plotting of the story has required a lot of thinking and planning. It's something we're trying to overcome and get better at.

Writing of the prologue is at 20% which is about 3500 words, we're aiming for a 15,000 words count goal.

Art

In terms of art, multiple character sprites are coming along. Instead of purchasing royalty-free background, we have decided to make our own so that it will fit with the unique story and setting better. At this point, no CG has been created yet since we are still focusing on the foundation of this Visual Novel.

Here are the current settings in the story. The art here is not final and there're still more locations that need to be drawn out as well.

(Artist: I think I will change the table and chair to be more white so the classroom feels a little more futuristic and fit better in tone with the story.)
