I love both ideas! Though "Sub trained dad by his son-in-law" has this incest vibe I appreciate, where the younger man doming older man like from your 陰の軛 story. Why not both? An old general POW trained by his son-in-law who works for the enemy nation? The son-in-law betrayed the general to his enemy and became his trainer too!

I wish I know, though it's one of the two-part short from Tagame sensei's Emono collection, you can find it in that book.

I’ve thought about it more, and I’m leaning toward the general taken POW, since I’m working on a fantasy setting in which POWs are trained like that.
