恥ずかしがり屋の少年？（コミッション解説）- A shy boy? (Commission Commentary) (Pixiv Fanbox)

以前に、Skebでの依頼を受けてこのようなアニメーション動画を作成しました。

がんばれベッキーダンス・ボーイ（Go for it, Becky Dance Boy!）

依頼の内容としては、依頼人のオリジナルキャラクターである男の子がドレスを着て左右にステップを踏みながらダンスを踊っているところ、というものです。

依頼文の中で気になったのは、「恥ずかしそうに微笑みながら」という一文です。この男の子は「何に対して」恥ずかしいと感じているのでしょう。

The request is for a boy, the client's original character, dancing in a dress, stepping from side to side.

What caught my attention in the request was the sentence "smiling shyly". What does this boy feel embarrassed "about"?

他の方がこの子を描いた絵を見ると、彼にとってドレスのような可愛らしいものを着ることは普通であり、自身の心を和ませるものであるようです。ただし、ドレスを着ているところを親しい間柄の人以外に見られるのは、まだちょっと恥ずかしい、といったところでしょうか。

Looking at other people's drawings of this child, it seems that for him, wearing something pretty like a dress is normal and comforting to him. However, he is still a little embarrassed to be seen wearing a dress by anyone other than his closest friends.

なので私は今回の場合、彼は「人前でドレスを着てダンスを踊ることが恥ずかしい」と感じている、と解釈し制作を進めることにしました。彼にとってドレスを着ること自体は普通の事なので、「人前でダンスを踊ること」の方が恥ずかしさは上回っている、というところでしょうか。

Therefore, in this case, I decided to proceed with the production based on the interpretation that he feels "embarrassed to wear a dress and dance in front of others". For him, wearing a dress itself is a normal thing, so the embarrassment of "dancing in front of others" is more than the embarrassment of wearing a dress.

もう少し深く考察します。「人前でダンスを踊ることが恥ずかしい」と感じているとすれば、それはなぜか。「ダンスを踊ることにまだ慣れていない」のではないか。とすれば、そのダンスは依頼文にある通り、内気なものになるのではないか。

Let's examine this a little more deeply. If he feels "embarrassed to dance in public," why is that? Is he "not yet accustomed to dancing"? If so, the dance will be shy, as the request states.

実はこの動画で彼が踊っているダンスには元ネタがあります。Twitter（現X）ではポスト内に書いていますが、ベッキーダンスというものです。

In fact, the dance he is dancing in this video has an original idea: it is called the Becky Dance, as I wrote in the post on Twitter (now X).

元ネタを見ていただければ分かるのですが、かなり元気でメリハリのあるダンスです。これをスピードダウンし、動きを柔らかくすることで、彼の内気なダンスを表すことにしました。また、Twitter（現X）でのポストにある「がんばれ」は、彼のダンスがまだ未熟であることを示したものです。

As you can see from the original, the dance is quite energetic and crisp. I decided to speed this down and soften the movements to represent his shy dance. Also, the " go for it" in the post on Twitter (now X) is meant to indicate that his dance is still in its infancy.

こんなことを考えながら制作したものが、冒頭にあるアニメーション動画です。Skebでは依頼人とのやり取りが最初の一度しかないので、依頼文はしっかりと読み込まないといけませんね。依頼文にあるとおり、アホ毛（原文でもahogeでちょっと笑ってしまいました）もしっかり揺れています。

The animated video at the beginning of this article is what I created with this in mind. Since Skeb only has one initial interaction with the client, I had to read the request text carefully. As the request text says, the ahoge (I laughed a bit at ahoge in the original text as well) is also shaking well.
