Man, I think I've been abusing the symmetry ruler a bit recently... 😅 This tool definitely helps save a bit of time; noticeably during the inking process, but the results are also remarkably mechanical and rigid. Symmetry is important in projects that demand it, especially in very geometric compositions and mechanical/architectural details, but to have a nice, dynamic drawing with a sense of life, avoiding perfect symmetry is almost mandatory. Even if you don't manage to perfectly mirror the details from one side to the other, these small variations and errors also add interest and charm to the drawing...! So getting obsessed with having everything perfectly symmetrical in a drawing doesn't have to be a headache... 😣📏📐
