I always feel really bad about my relationship with One Piece... 😥 I'm definitely very interested in it, everything in One Piece clicks the right way with my tastes, setting, story, humor and character design...! My only problem is that watching One Piece looks like a titanic task for me. It's too big and to scary to just jump right into it... 😖 That ship sailed away from me a long time ago..._:(´ཀ`」 ∠):_ But, I can't say it's because I'm lazy, I just have a lot of trouble getting into really long shows, mostly because I like to see things in their entirety in one sitting. (Or at least I watch one show at a time from start to finish continuously for as long as needed.) So watching a really long show that's also still on air runs counter to my style of consuming media. I would never wish for One Piece to finally be finished so I could start watching it, I would feel terrible for everyone who enjoys the show. I myself have felt the desire that some of my favorite animes continue to run forever, so as long as someone continues to have fun I hope that One Piece continues to make their fans happy. I'll still be sitting on the sidelines trying to work up the courage to jump into the boat and set sail for adventure...🏴‍☠️
