(Most of the time it's a non-rationalized interest) In this particular case you may like sexy girls (Very rational expectation), but a sexy girl wearing glasses immediately boosts her attractiveness to you. And the girl herself may not be too interesting for you, but her wearing glasses makes you more interested in her. However, the glasses themselves are not the object of your interest. It is an ad-on, +1, boost to your interest and excitement for something. So Moe can be defined as an interest in something due to some appealing extrisic characteristics. However, I don't mean to say that this is a definitive answer at all...! The concept of MOE was created while trying to define a very fuzzy, fleeting and warm feeling and as such it is almost impossible to assign it a solid definition.
