When it comes to character design I find myself on the side of using few but very striking elements for my designs...(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ In addition to the strategic use of exposed skin of course...(¬‿¬ )✧ Characters clutered in details don't go well with my style. Although there are a lot of characters with these same characteristics that I absolutely love, it's just that I personally like more clear and easy to understand designs. Characters can always be as complex as their designer's skill allows, but sometimes this can be a total puzzle for the eyes... ( @ ω @) ??? In my experience, characters with 2 or 3 very appealing features are much easier to remember than characters with hundreds of small details that are mixed in a confusing mess. For me the four horsemen of the apocalypse of bad character design are...! 1.- Heterochromia... (Characters with different colored pupils) 2.- Multi colored strands of hair. Two-color, three-color hairstyles, etc. 3.- Weapons and equipment are the personality of the character, without them the character cannot be recognized. 4.- Swiss army knife characters. Inter-dimensional time traveler, dark elf, third elf, third human, third secret sealed shadow dragon spirit, cursed bounty hunter. Infernal soul sucker explosive gun scythe wielding demigod ... Plus underachieving high school student at day...┐( ̄ヮ ̄)┌ Original character, do not steal™
