Android 18 // Dragon Ball ( Lineart ) (Pixiv Fanbox)

So guess who's back...? Dragon Ball fans rejoice...(ﾉಥ益ಥ)ﾉ Man, I had definitely totally lost all my faith in this drawing... I'm not saying I don't like it, but I made a huge mistake with the arrangement of the torso, left hand and the ground, in general the whole front part was just a mess. And it all sprouted simply because of a "mental visualization" error... My idea for this scene was a nice beach scene with Android 18, you know, the stereotypical scene where the girl asks you to put some suntan lotion on her and then things get crazy...(っ˘▽˘)˘▽˘✿ς)♥♥♥ With this in mind I tried to go for a forward leaning pose. To add a little more weight on the front line I tried adding some more luggage, a cooler maybe or a rest table. The thing is, none of this worked really well with the scene and I decided to discard those elements, but now the problem would be that Android 18 would not have any point of support for her. So now my only option was to put her hand on the sand or her thigh, but this involves having to lower the entire front of her torso a bit and rearrange the height of her head. Now, all of this could have been done with relative ease, but I'm damn stubborn and I didn't really want to rework her mid-body as I really liked the results of the original sketch. So after looking at the image for so long and really struggling with it I just decided to put my eyes away and move on to other projects. Moving forward to yesterday...! I was surfing through my Twitter feed and then I saw a really nice image of a girl in bikini resting on the beach while leaning on a beach ball. This made me think, it would be really cool to be able to draw such a scene...! After all the transparency effect and the tinted colors passing through the plastic of the ball is something very interesting to experiment with. And suddenly the bolt of inspiration hit me....(☆▽☆)! How about a beach ball so she can use it as a support piece...? And that brings us to today... In a way very anticlimactic but in general that is how all my stories are...┐( ´ д ` )┌ They seem to be going somewhere but then they totally go where expected without taking any kind of interesting turn or surprise. And then I abruptly end them once I think I've written enough or get tired of writting any more..._:(´ཀ`」 ∠):_
