State of Something Address for 4/28/22 (Pixiv Fanbox)

Hey guys! I was just going to keep this as a simple update on commissions for May, but I realize I've mainly been posting a lot of news to just Twitter lately, I feel I should keep you guys up to date here on some of that stuff as well.

May commissions

I'm doing things a little differently for May, as you can see by certain changes to the Franchise Sale and two different Themed Sales, in addition to having 14 spots to fill.

So the reason for the cut in Franchises has to do with the next point, but also to declutter things slightly. I'll likely be swapping them in and out every month or so, but just know that not everything that was there before is gone for good.

As for why I'm taking 14 slots this time around instead of the normal ten: I'll be taking a vacation at the end of June, when I also plan to attend my first convention in three years. So the money from this cycle will go towards that, as a bit of extra spending money.

It also allows me to spend more time in June not just to take a break off commissions, but try to work on stories that have been in the back of my mind or continue things like Frozen Inc. and Akari's Research, assuming I haven’t finished them yet. That and catch up at last one some anime or Manga that I've been unable to give a shot.

Throne

Speaking of which, I'm now able to read up on the first six volumes of Spy X Family and be ahead of the anime, as well as own a copy of the infamous Metamorphosis, thanks to a purchase Cedarteal made on my new Throne page!

In case you haven't seen it around, Throne is like a Wishlist, kept to help support your favorite content creators. I don't have too much up on there at the moment, but it is there as an alternative if you'd like to help support me. For something like SxF or Meta, it's merely for the sake of research, seeing as how the former is booming in popularity and the latter is (supposedly) getting an anime adaptation. Other things there are mostly necessities for living, like the audio adjustment device, if I want to properly get my video reviews done with quality sound.

Twitter Space

Last week I held my first Twitter Space, which didn't see a lot of attendance. It's fine if you missed it, I hadn't expected much, but I admit I liked doing it and felt like I could try to do more of them in the future.

And I'll likely use Patreon and other platforms to help promote it. You'll see more of that coming soon.

A change to audios

This is something I'm working on wording properly, but just know that I'm going to likely change how I release the audio projects. They'll still be here, they'll be released monthly, and even right now I'm working to fix things so we're back on track to early month releases.

Just know that this has been something I've been considering for a few months, so it's not coming out of nowhere. It's just taken some time for me to consider how I value the audios and what I should do to expand growth and interest. The announcement will be made once the audios for My Dress-Up Darling have been posted to these pages.
