- A new adventure? A spin-off?

I will use polls/discussion posts to see what people want.

The golden pony staff gained a lot of interest but ever since I added the hood the interest has been dropping with each image published. I'm not sure why since other artists seem to perform well/retain interest despite hoods. Maybe it's my artstyle or the story itself (I'm not a good writer I know...). Some people suggested adding hair, others suggested doing a follow up comic. Personally, I think it's best to simply move on to a new adventure. It's clear I still have a lot to learn and practise.

Q: A spin-off?

A: I've thought about doing a short story that takes place after the golden pony staff where Miss Mason tests new equipment in an attempt to automate the process of transforming and training new ponygirls. A malfunction causes the machines to turn on Miss Mason and she is rapidly turned into a ponygirl herself without a possibility of getting out any more. It's just an idea though. I have more ideas which I will post later this month.

That Miss Mason´s spin off sounds cool

garfield

I agree that the mask may have been a partial reason for loss of interest in the story later on. This time around it was a great and devious mask and it brought a lot to the story, but I would have left it for the final few drawings. Once the mask is on there is just so much stuff that gets lost on the character. Before the masks gets put on you can switch gags, you can pump the lips more and more, facial expressions can change, various piercings can appear. Heck even the hair can be shaved off right before we finally add the mask and thus all kinks are covered. To me personally, the thrill is in the transformation. Each drawing is a surprise till the very end. In this case at certain point we just knew that's as far as the transformation will go and only the scenery will change. Oh and don't you ever dare say your writing sucks. I truly enjoyed the whole story of the Golden Pony, even when the drawings became somewhat boring to me. Miss Mason spin-off does sound fun!
