My Diary [May 12, 2022] (Pixiv Fanbox)
Content
Hello everybody, this is JANE.
Thank you very much for always supporting me.
I write my diary in English once in a while...!
*Using the DEEPL translation function together
This week sucks
I forgot my password to get my resident card.
So I was going to go to the ward office to go through the reset procedure for it, but I procrastinated again today due to sleepiness. This is the third day of procrastination. I am inevitably sleepy.
Why do I need a certificate of residence?
It's for the PayPal activation process.
I'm about to act on it because I've been getting too many commission inquiries from overseas and I'm sorry to turn them down.
RYOTA :Just wait a little longer!
But oversleeping is not the only cause of procrastination.
WINDOWS 11 had a glitch in the update, and when I tried to restore it, it failed and wouldn't boot, so I wasted a lot of time.
I went through hell.
I suspected the SSD was failing, but a clean install of everything fixed the problem. But I chose "windows 10".
I disliked WIN11 for a long time because it had many glitches and inconvenient specifications, such as suddenly freezing.
I had a hard time restoring programs, etc., but that was not a problem because I wanted to downgrade to WIN10.
I had backed up my user data, so I was good to go.
What I'm trying to say is that I will never use the damn WIN11 again. (At least the current version sucks so bad)
I love WIN10.
NAOYA :Never mind, Microsoft.
...and while I was saying that, the date has changed in Japan.
Today is the day I'm going to the ward office. After I get some sleep.
KONOSUKE :And then I procrastinate again.
About me now
I still don't know enough English to use it on my own.
I use automatic translation (DEEPL), DMM Eikaiwa, movies (prime video), and YOUTUBE videos to help me study English.
Movies have a little too many sophisticated expressions and some parts are not everyday, but there are many internet pages that explain them, so they are helpful.
The genres of movies I watch are wide-ranging. Action, sci-fi, comedy, non-fiction, animation, musicals, romance, etc... I like most of them.
Well, it's not so much language learning as just plain fun.
MASAKI :I love kung fu movies!
The movies I've seen recently are...
Intouchables (2011)(France)
Horrible Bosses (2011)
The Internship (2013)
Cuban Fury (2014) (UK)
Oversize Cops (2017) (Thailand)
Mid90s (2018)
All were good. The "Oversize Cops" was especially poignant with its four handsome fat cops struggling to Proof that you don't have to be skinny. They may look sweaty, but they're definitely all good guys!
As for listening to English, the youtube channel with subtitles is great. I especially like the one where he makes one-person plays based on scenes from everyday life and the one of the musician playing a surprise at omegle.
I really appreciate them because they show the nuances of realistic conversations. And of course, they're funny. *They're good-looking, too.
RAKU :Can't stop watching short videos...
English is essential for translating my work and communicating commissions, so I will continue to study it.
I usually use too many expressions that only Japanese people can understand in my works(Incl my blog, Dialog of charactors), which confuses even the most stupid GOOGLE translator.
Is it a little long and boring?
But I believe you can get the meaning of this sentence I translated myself. At least better than the GOOGLE translation!
Only women or fat boys can suck their own nipples.
Thanks for reading all the way to the end!
