Patreon's New Guidelines (Pixiv Fanbox)

I just caught wind of Patreon's new guidelines.

Apparently now, they want artists to somehow have their fictional characters consent in sexual acts in their work. This is so unbelievably fucking stupid.

I want to say, "I can't believe we got to this point", but after years of seeing how people react to anime characters and hentai and comparing fictional characters to REAL KIDS and/or REAL PEOPLE, I can actually see how we got this this point.

When you have years and years and years of people constantly trying to relate fictional beings that don't exist to real life humans, it ends up causing an uncontrollable cancer across the damn internet.

And now that cancer has spread to the brains of the people of Patreon, Paypal, Pixiv, etc. It's effecting artists on all sides to the point we just about have almost nowhere to go. This is sad.

Artistic freedom is dying, unfortunately.

So, What am I going to do?

Well, I'm going to continue to post like normal. With these new changes, it won't surprise me if Patreon ends up banning me. For now, I'm fine.

But this week, I will look into Fansly and see about starting one up.

If something tends to happen to Patreon, we still have Fanbox & Subscribestar to fall back on.

I don't want to sound all doom and gloom, but the future isn't looking too good for NSFW artists. People's far-sided politics (ON BOTH SIDES) has caused nothing but damages.
