Pixiv fanbox will be updating their terms of use on the 15th of December. It seems the new restrictions are only to be applied to shitass people who have been posting real life contents (which are illegal anyway). So that would mean it does NOT affect fictional images, drawn or 3D, but we all know how this starts and escalate. So I am looking into other options. Perhaps subscribestar. I will keep you guys posted. Here's the message pixiv sent:

"pixiv Inc. will be updating the Service Master Terms of Use on Thursday, December 15th, 2022.

This update applies to certain transactions on BOOTH, pixivFANBOX, the pixiv Requests feature, etc.

This is a very important update, so we are explaining it in advance to all our users, and we ask our users to take action accordingly, as detailed below.

■ Regarding transactions for items

Many transactions take place on BOOTH, pixivFANBOX, and the pixiv Requests feature.

Some were found to violate the pixiv Terms of Use, Article 14 "Prohibited Conduct", Item 26 "Using the Services to display, sell, purchase, register, or engage in other transactions involving the products set forth below".

Furthermore, the rules or policies of Brand Protection for Card Networks transactions for content that is patently offensive, unethical, or promote criminal activity; such as, by way of example and not limitation:

・Sexual exploitation of a minor

・Incest

・Bestiality

・Rape (or any other non-consensual sexual behavior)

・Non-consensual mutilation of a person or body part

Under the Service Master Terms of Use, we ask that all users check for items that include the above content on BOOTH, pixivFANBOX, and the pixiv Requests feature, and if such content is found, delete the items or set them to private.

■ Terms of Use update for December 15th, 2022

We will be updating Article 14 "Prohibited Conduct", Item 26 "Using the Services to display, sell, purchase, register, or engage in other transactions involving the products set forth below", in order to clarify the standards for items and content that fall under prohibited transactions.

The updated Terms of Use will be revealed in late November, and go into effect on Thursday, December 15th.

If you are concerned about whether your content is prohibited or not, please check the new Terms of Use when they are revealed in late November.

If you find content that is prohibited on BOOTH, pixivFANBOX, and the pixiv Requests feature, please delete the items or set them to private before the update goes into effect on Thursday, December 15th.

If we discover transactions for prohibited content after Thursday, December 15th, the items containing the prohibited content will be set to private.

Furthermore, users who repeatedly conduct transactions for prohibited content after the new measures are in place will have their accounts suspended.

pixiv aims to protect freedom of expression, and respecting the content of work is an important part of our policy.

We have updated our Terms because we believe that maintaining a safe environment for all user transactions is a part of supporting that policy.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation."

AGlassOfMilk

Oh great, i just posted my first horror update for my game on pixiv.

AGlassOfMilk

I could change my content by adding an intro and outro that everything is a VR rollplay or something to make it consensual... awww man, that will take months for my games. Maybe you can do it for your comics too. I did leave patreon because of this crap. I think running away again isn't the solution. Any platform will sooner or later be censored by the evil overlords.

Dark Tales

I have an idea. What about keeping the subscribers and posting normal pictures... But sending download link in PM to the fans? In Pixiv you can easily send PM to your fans.

Sparks

fantopia.com also works. You also get to keep most of your revenue.
