Dumb title, I know, but it's mostly because I usually would be posting updates or rambles, but as of late I haven't been in a really rambly mood. Or rather, I haven't really been able to think of topics I want to ramble about. Updates... I more or less have the next couple of months covered already, and I don't want to blow my load early and show every single pose I've come up with for every character. I want there to be a small surprise element there, since you already know more or less who will be upcoming. But back to rambles, I mostly just don't have anything that really stands out as something I want to talk about. A lot of stuff I've already talked about before, but there's also just the fact that after the project, a lot of the stuff I do now is just second-nature instead of stuff I actively think about. Ideas for rambles usually would spring up when there's something I have to think to do and it just kind of comes naturally, but when everything is kind of auto-pilot, I don't have much that springs to mind. Also doesn't help that I'm not fully recovered, but I am getting there. Definitely feeling some of the mojo coming back. I also could just go non-sequiter and ramble about something completely unrelated, but I don't want to bore too many people with my dumb opinions about dumb things. I'd like there to be some relevancy to the main focus of my work, ie, 3D art, Blender, and smut.

So I guess I'll propose a question. Is there anything you'd like to hear me ramble about? Something I haven't touched on in regards to my process? Or perhaps just some general talk about Blender, 3D, or the like? I honestly don't think I have much insightful to say, but throughout the years I have had a number of people come to me asking for pointers, tips, and the like. I'm far from a master. I wouldn't even call myself an apprentice. But if there's something you want to know about what I do know, I can always ramble about it a bit. I've considered making a 'walkthrough' of how I rig my models in written form, but I do think that would be better as a video. It's not a super long process the way I do it, but the visual aspect of a video would help I think. I just need to prepare for that, so I don't have to do much editing while not making it too long. And I guess if you want to hear me ramble about dumb things, I could do that too, but I also don't really know what I'd talk about that would be interesting to anyone but me.

Anyway, what else... I'm sort of drafting some ideas for Halloween. I know it's early, but I'm just trying to toss the ideas around in my head and see what really grabs my attention. I want to actually know what I want to do ahead of time so I don't end up with a situation like last year where I try to do a bunch of ideas all at once and end up kind of overwhelmed and somewhat rushed. I'm gonna do some Halloween polls again, and I haven't decided on characters/costumes/themes, so if anyone's got ideas they'd like to see, feel free to toss them my way. Won't make promises that they'll actually show up, since it'll also depend on how I feel about the idea, but we shall see.

As for the poll, the winner is more or less decided at this point, but I'll let it go through to the date I set. The lead isn't insurmountable, but unlikely to be surmounted.

Lastly, I'm aware a lot of people are waiting for and wanting FFXVI content from me since the game is coming out this week, but don't expect anything from me anytime soon. I honestly have no interest in the game and can't even play it since I don't have a PS5. I also don't have any inclinations towards any of the characters, so I'm in no rush to do anything with them. I imagine that's disappointing to many, but that's just my feeling on the matter.

I unironically want you to go on a full action snob ramble lol, if you're able to articulate it

gaMerfUll

You know a ramble I have??? I'm no longer hyped for FF16 in the slightest... I honestly have 0 desire to even play it. And I'm currently struggling if I should even buy it or not. I've been so depressed all this weekend because of it. And what do I get to feel better?? A Ramble Ramble.... tis the season to ramble!! You know, I haven't seen anyone ask for you to release your models in a long time. But I suppose teaching people how to do their own copies of your models should help satisfy those people a little bit. I have been making you ramble about animation stuff all this time so once again, nothing really to ask about. I need a some reference.... so I guess I'll ask this. How's she going??? Halloween is right around the corner and I didn't see it coming. I have no clue what to recommend...! Is already too late! Would a Virus Commander, Operator or 2B make a return/appearance??

Lilkow

Also, are you planning to wait for the Persona 3 remake to do Mitsuru stuff, or are you gonna just go with what you have now?

Anonymous

I genuinely think that in many cases the enthusiasm, passion, or specificity of the rambler in whatever topic they choose can make a ramble that is otherwise completely irrelevant to me wildly compelling. So I think if you picked something on the level of pet peeve or hyper specific fixation or whatever, you can pull off completely irrelevant and still be interesting, because your focus on it makes it interesting. Otherwise. Going the other way can be fun too, a completely inarticulate stream of consciousness can have its own appeal. With regards to "relevant" things. I bet there's lots of little things that you might not necessarily think about that could be their own "mini lesson" if you wanted to ramble about your process. Like how with a specific combination of character design and scenery and lighting, you have to do xyz to make it turn out the way you want it to. Maybe poll topics? Could also overanalyze character design and what makes characters (un)appealing to you.

LazyProcrastinator

I'd have difficulties articulating it, but I probably could get the gist of it out. Not sure I'd want to do that, though. x) Probably gonna do it before it comes out. Mostly depends on if I can get the model looking the way I want it to, and I'm able to get animations looking the way I want them to. I'm most likely going to dip my toes in another Persona character first, though. Just to get a hang of things before jumping in with my Persona waifu.

Anonymous

My Halloween suggestion if you want to troll people is to rig models of actual monsters and dress them up as Final Fantasy characters, then make them dance. Really ill fitting clothes that sort of hang off of non-human proportions. That sounds like unnecessary work though, it's sort of just a flight of fancy. Maybe do a visual representation of your biggest fear as an animator, or something you disdain, to fit the horror theme. So like, an animation that's entirely climaxes? :^) My more serious suggestion, idk. Look into gothic horror drip? I don't have many legit ideas at the moment, maybe I'll come up with some later. I like witchy apparel too. Someone wrapped in bandages like a half assed mummy? Maybe do a "hahah trick or treat but it's lewd" scenario. That's all I got.

LazyProcrastinator

Yeah, there are quite a few people who seem to like to see me ramble on about a topic of passion that is completely unrelated to anything. I just try not to do it too much, lest I annoy too many people. x) But the last idea is something that actually could work. I do sometimes have overly particular tastes, and characters I find really appealing are often rather niche. Could be a fun topic to delve into, while also relevant.

LazyProcrastinator

Did my disinterest rub off on you? x) It was brought up quite a few times in the survey, so I see it plenty. x) Mitsuru? Haven't dabbled much with her, been focusing on upcoming stuff and a few random things here and there. Next week's release is pretty much done, just need to finish a few things and then render. I might do some Virus stuff with the Nier: Tomato gals, but most of my ideas are for other things.

Anonymous

FF 16 is just DMC by the guys that made FF 14. Not a bad game, but also not FF. The characters are bland (?) and since you only get to play Clive and the game is just corridors with no exploration, i don't have high hopes for any interesting characters anyways. I think you can skip that title.

Lilkow

Haha I figured. Plus, everyone's currently on that FFXVI train, so yeah, not a great time for a post like it anyway You can always do Persona 5/Royal characters first, I guess. Not like those models will look outdated anytime soon. I wonder if the new Mitsuru model will even look all that different from the model you're using from the Dancing game (?). I do quite like the rest of the cast's glowup so far though Maybe you can do another ramble on these 3D anime models and why they're so finnicky to work with

gaMerfUll

I'm currently in a state where I could hear all your problems with that game. But no, I'm heated that the devs just straight up said "this is western trash and syncing them lips to them there other languages was too hard so deal with it, bud!" So now I'm indecisive if I should play the game on --what Japanese developers think is good English voice acting-- or the better but broken Japanese dub. I've heard the English "intended" version. And it makes the end of that demo hilarious to me. Haven't been this upset about a game since Yakuza 7.... But, really... didn't you told me but a week ago that you couldn't think about Halloween right now?? I joked and yet here we are. You only think this far in advance when you have something bog planned. Wich could contradict your statement about this year Halloween being smaller scale. What could have possibly come into your mind that you broke your own rules. After a harsh 3 months battle even! Something within you hardened!! So what could it be?

LazyProcrastinator

Something that would be less controversial would be talking about the differences of DmC and DMC, but that's a dead topic so I wouldn't do that anyway. Yeah, I can't imagine the P3R model will be THAT different than the Dancing models, but I will probably dabble with P5 a little first. And rambling about the anime models might work, although a lot of that is just a skill issue on my part. x)

I am thirsting for FFXVI. I need it. I must know. I am intrigued by the lore and the politics and the characters and the madness I must. Have it. I don't care if it's as fun as DMC it's the story I'm in it for. Though I'll say, as its own thing, I am getting fun out of its systems, figuring out how to be more efficient. Indeed, it's more different to DMC than I was expecting and that's getting me interested in its own way. I do enjoy when devs experiment with genre. I guess it's got kind of a Soulsborne sort of flow but with some DMC style action game elements. I am excited to see what else can be done later in the game. Penelo.

Lilkow

I mean, the way I see it is that they didn't want to compromise the quality of the Japanese script just to fit the English version. FFXIII had lip syncs for both English and Japanese, but the story was still pretty awful because the translators had to somewhat match the timing and dialogue length of the Japanese

LazyProcrastinator

Well, if I thought FFXVI would have DMC combat, I'd actually be excited. The problem is, it won't. It has a very basic combat system from what I can tell that is very flashy, so I can't find it in me to care about the gameplay.

Anonymous

Also, you may say "Isn't SOP Soulsborne with DMC style game elements", yes, but I'd argue XVI is going for that in a different direction.

Lilkow

I hate it will probably take them 2-3 years to port the game to PC. XVI seems like a nice return to a narrative genre that SquareEnix hasn't touched since like... Vagrant Story in 2000? And that still remains as the best story to ever come out of the company imo

LazyProcrastinator

Honestly, I don't even pay attention to lipsyncing, so that doesn't bother me in the slightest. Most of the time I pay attention to lipsyncing, I see some mistake and so I go back to ignoring it. Mostly just a few ideas. I don't expect all of them to pan out, but I'm tossing them around. And they will be smaller scale than last year. Not gonna do anything on the level of L&A blowjob. Just a few animations, with maybe one that is slightly higher effort.

gaMerfUll

I mean it hurts more when FF7R had good lip sync for both languages. They could have done SOMETHING instead of giving up. They said they looked bad, so they stopped trying. But isn't just neglecting your own language and saying "fuck it, play it in English" even worse?? Like damn....

LazyProcrastinator

I wouldn't even consider SoP Soulsborne, since SoP is actually fun to play. And I would say my problem with XVI is that it is looks as deep as a Soulsborne game but with prettier animations and particle effects. And yes, I am an action game snob, thank you for asking. And I don't see anything interesting in the characters or story, myself.

Lilkow

I mean the quality of FF7R's English dub is pretty questionable imo. I think someone compiled all the moments in the game where characters did anime grunts and it came up to a whopping 1 hour video xd And I believe FF7R used some form AI based lip sync, which is why it's pretty inconsistent in some parts of the game

gaMerfUll

I've tried to start the demo again to kinda get used to it... but I've just lost desire to even touch the game wich sucks. Tried watching reactions of the game when it got announced to get hyped and I couldn't.... feels so weird.... I'm emotionally confused. Since I'm mentally fucked, I can't really think of recommendations for That Spooky Day.... I recommend some Hope stuff to fuck around with.... I'm sure you'll do some FB stuff on the very, very side. So I'm not worried. Aside for the Ghost stuff, your Halloweens aren't really spooky... Would like more of the spooks side of things. Crazy chicks... Queen could make a return. Soul Edge could possess one of the SC girls.... There's Tira... Persona has their shadow versions. If you can't be gory or disturbing spooky. Then crazy spooky should do just fine. A more hardcore Succ Iris perhaps??? Will she finally peg headless-chan??? Was that Gladio hallucination a warning????

Lilkow

Plus, the producer only encouraged Japanese players to use English on their second playthrough. That's just clickbaity journo headlines doing their magic there

Anonymous

I have yet to finish VS, though I know its legacy. My fave FF's X. It was the one I played as a kid for the first time though I watched my sibling play VII, VIII and IX. Maybe you'll get lucky and it'll take a year to come to PC in the Epic Games Store. A year after to Steam. Monkey's Paw. I know some think the characters are bland but playing the demo I don't see it? Is it cause they're British Accented or they're not very anime looking? Slight Spoilers for 5 hours in or so, and this is from the 2nd part of the demo, but Clive is way more of a goofus (a goofy doofus) than the impression I got. I also like the minor characters, and am curious what happens to them. Like Benedicta. She intrigues me with her conflict. AND I LIKE BLAST ALRIGHT HE'S FUNNY OK. I could go on about Joshua, Cid etc but then I'd be here forever, but suffice it to say I find all the main cast interesting so far. I should leave log out. Cause I am very paranoid talking about this game. It's my brain. I'm neurotic.

Anonymous

I played the demo. It is DMC with a little bit changed here and there. You even have Nero's pull with the Wind powers equipped. It may not be on par with DMC5 gameplay, but it certainly tries. It has potential to be very interesting. Which is a must, considering that you PLAY ONLY AS CLIVE FFSFSFDSDASDFASF. Sorry, i am mad. I have to stare at man-butt for the entire game.

LazyProcrastinator

Can't help you, since I still feel nothing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Honestly, I'm intending to try to do something more spooky. The question is whether I'll be able to, or have the patience to. It'll require more effort on my part than I've done, just for the setup and execution of it all. But I've always tried to avoid making things too spooky. After all, my goal for most of these isn't to spook, but to scarous at worst. But if my goal is to spook, I think I could spook.

jssr

I feel like the whole FF16 conversation being pretty much "No guys, for realsies it is going to be the most mature and most Game of Thrones Final Fantasy ever." has me feeling pretty meh about the whole thing. Combat looks fine but I'm honestly a bit more stoked for Dragon's Dogma instead of more DMC at home. It is such a weird feeling because I've dumped a ridiculous amount of time in DMC5 and I love FF but I'm just not feeling this one. Also don't have a PS5 lol. As for Halloween ideas. I think it would be kinda cool to see characters cosplay like those Lunafreya and Iris posters. It might be a bit of a chore finding a good match for each costume, but I think it would be a nice spin on the usual Halloween spooky stuff.

LazyProcrastinator

They all look bland. It's not even that they're not 'anime' looking, they just look completely generic. They all look like they'd be random NPCs that give side-quests - or are involved in a side-quest - in a CRPG, because they all sort of look the same with a very... potato like face and aren't all that visually distinct. Clive has the most distinct design, but even that looks like something out of Dragon Age 2. Yeah, I said it. Dragon Age 2. I haven't seen enough to say anything about the characters, so maybe there's something there... but the story feels like they're trying too hard to be "serious".

LazyProcrastinator

It's funny, DD has some of the most generic fantasy designs in the world... but it just works for me. I feel like too many other fantasy games try too hard to be different, whereas DD is unabashedly Dungeons and Dragons inspired that it's just nice to see. I would say my favorite dragon design in gaming is Grigori in DD, because he looks like a classic red dragon. You don't see that too often in games. I definitely plan to do some cosplay stuff for the polls. Just don't want it to necessarily be filled with my own picks, since I do have my biases. x)

gaMerfUll

I know, still pretty bad. I'm afraid SE is going the Capcom route and westernizing FF. Face scan and everything. The whole "I don't like people calling my game a JRPG" thing hits different after learning they made their game in English first. And the "They don't look Japanese so the Japanese Dub doesn't fit" bs doesn't work on me. Those characters are clearly pretty anime boys and girls. And there's my very own personal problem with Japanese games being voice acted by British/Australian people. I'm just never convinced.

Anonymous

Might be a stupid question but, is the PS5 already hacked/jail breaked to even extract said character models from games?

gaMerfUll

You've done sexy spooky well till now. The only good part of Queen's and 2B's BDP anims. The ghost vids.... Don't know how much effort you'll put into it, so I can't really go all out on recommendations. But would you dare to give monsties another shot???

LazyProcrastinator

Are we talking Artemis monster, or werewolf monster here? Because former I could get very spooky with. (͠≖ ͜ʖ͠≖)

Lilkow

I'm not tryna convince you on anything my guy, but I just wanna say that you need to go past article headlines lol. Biases aside, there's a whole lot wrong in what you just said because of the strange cycle of misinformation going around. I won't go through each point (unless you want me to), but the main thing I want to point out is that the dev team absolutely did not try to discard their Japanese market just to get Westeners excited for this. From the general conversations I've seen, Japanese players are still pretty ecstatic for the game lol

gaMerfUll

As you know, I've opened up a shit ton since last Halloween. So I'm down for even tentacles. You HAVE to give tenties a try at some point. Who's tentacles??? Fuck if I know. Ok I did some digging. BOY, we're getting surgical now. That anim only needs a chat layout and we're golden X3. But hey! look at that... the finisher not finish thing I kept recommending. See...? It ain't bad. In fact! What do you think about a pack of animations that are purely that "camera" angle. We spoke about how to give use to the camera. There's one right there.

LazyProcrastinator

Go with the classic Malboro. Just a little heads up, that particular animation is kind of old. So another thing you've suggested I've dabbled with before. (͠≖ ͜ʖ͠≖) But I've thought to do more 'fixed camera' stuff, ala the first ghost video. It actually makes things easier for me, and gives a sense of progression to a scene in a way. Especially if I play around with the lights.

gaMerfUll

I've read all of it. No need. The reason why I'm this heated is because I've followed every bit of information on this have. Both "fake" and "truth" They're trying to hard to remove the J from the RPG in FF games with this one and I'm extremely worried. And the devs are kinda full of shit with the whole no day one patch thing. What I thought was cool or ok before now just disappoints me. The tone, the maturity, the language... My hype and copium glasses got punched out of my face with "Lips are hard, so too bad" quote. "Sorry"

BlankOn22

Still waiting for Hong Jing. Well, shit, it will be 1 year waits for XVI PC ver. to be ported, unless some talented man making the models by themself.

Anonymous

Right. I too don't care too much for XVI either... maybe waiting for PC release is causing the lack of interest.

gaMerfUll

I can read into your mind...! Put your keyboard on your desk as I move it with my mind... So, perhaps a good iteration of the ghost tape is a "Ghost livestream" where the ghost isn't the focus of the animation.... until the halfway point...!! Masturbation gone wrong!!! Ghost girl this time.... fucks a gurl!!!! Ideas... suddenly start to flow back in...! (ʘ ͜ʖ ʘ)

LazyProcrastinator

I already sort of have an idea similar to that, albeit not with the ghost and not with a livestream, but that's all I'll say on that subject since I don't know if I'll end up going through with it, and I also don't want to spoil it this far out.

gaMerfUll

As for the costume topic. I'd prefer if not all of theme were from DoA. But more of a cross IP thing. At the very least for the poll choices. Heck, even cross dressing! Some male costumes could look great in girls. And FBs could look good on anything.... And maybe add anime characters this time. Great tune to use this Persona models, since p5 has a lot of costumes.

LazyProcrastinator

They likely won't all be from DoA, but there may still be some here or there. They do have a lot of costumes, after all.

gunpla

your rambles have always been personal, i don't think you necessarily have to "cater" to us. just write whatever you feel like, or don't. I think either way you'll still get engagement from us folks. as for xvi content, if you don't make any, i think someone will eventually. i just wanna enjoy the game before then... in retrospect, ive done a lot just to play this game lol. bought a ps5 for it and taking time off next week just to play.

gunpla

i think if anything, im looking forward towards your p3 content more .

gunpla

ive said it before...best grill. im really liking her model in p3r. its cute, i don't know what it is. p3r is supposedly a remake of the base p3 game but i hope the aeon arcana is still a thing.

LazyProcrastinator

I think it will be. I don't think the remake is going to be a 1:1 remake of the very original game in that regard, but who can say. I'd be shocked if they got rid of that sort of content. Hell, I'd be shocked if there weren't at least a few things that are 'new' in some way.

sychosys

A ramble about rambling, we’ve gone full meta here. I don’t have any ideas for future ramblings, other than whatever sparks your interest at the time. I do think videos would be interesting though. Maybe not even tutorials, but just kind of basic animating or rigging videos of how you go about it. I think the last one was with the Tamaki animations? I dunno I just always find that kind of stuff to be interesting. For Halloween my suggestion of a ghost blowjob woo woo still comes to mind. Have fun with that translucency baby! Seeing all the P3 stuff the last week has definitely renewed my interest in the series. I know I went back to GAA this weekend, but maybe I should go and finally start up P5R. Got it last year and it’s just sitting there unloved. Or play through P3P for once…

LazyProcrastinator

They definitely wouldn't be a proper tutorial, just explaining what I'm doing at any given point(using text, anyway). I got caught up doing other stuff, so I haven't started my replay of AA yet... why must time always fight against us? Why can't we just do all the things?

sychosys

Yeah don’t really need tutorials, just the kind of behind the scenes making of videos is all I need. That kind of stuff always interests me, even if it seems mundane Funny thing was, I wasn’t originally going to play it this weekend, but my internet was out all day today so I just decided to pick it back up. Sometimes life is strange like that. But seriously he hates time make it stop. Let us have time turners and the like so we can finally clear out these backlogs ;_;

U.D.

how about that Persona 3 Remake trailer

Backzilla Primordial Shitposter

While it's sounds like an idea with educated purpose and it's nice in terms of getting to know more about your work, but I don't think it going to cut it in the form of words maybe a tutorial video of some sort if you truly desire, but for the rambling itself might just be something you like to talk about at the time or what's on your mind bla bla bla. Cause you know now that you make ramble posts more than before we actually don't need to worry about you, before It was like oh hey my favorite 3D porn guy still alive or something of a sort. But hey then again it's your blog just do what ever you want how anyone gonna stop you.

Anonymous

I'm interested on knowing how you animate facial expression.

Anonymous

"As for the poll, the winner is more or less decided at this point, but I'll let it go through to the date I set" Bro don't make me wait just to hear Dolores lost again

Anonymous

I think your animation is very emotional and expressive, and I look forward to learning something from you, I just buy it. lol

benz310

Ramble on anything LazyP. For myself, I like the topics you do post on. Honestly it breaks a lot of the mundane stuff I read on Reddit or whatever forum I’m on with my numerous interest be it from 3d printing to classic anime/video games. I remember getting into discussions about the old street fighter hentai back in my AOL chat rooms…😭😭😭 My very first porn of the internet was Sung Hee Lee got milk photo….bwahahah…I remember having discussion about that for days. Anyway, keep it varied, don’t let “us” dictate what you should write on your posts. I’m pretty sure the concesus would be to do your own thing. For Halloween I’d suggest a pixel format pixelated beyond trolling! Pixels among pixels among pixels…or even Roblox hentai?! Bwahahaha !

gaMerfUll

So Lazy-sama, are you ine if those people that make horrible atrocities in games with character creators???? Or perhaps you make yourself??? One of your OC??

LazyProcrastinator

Depends on the game and the character creator. Never do myself. But I'll go with the horrible abominations if it's funny and easier than making a half-way decent looking character.

gaMerfUll

So you're one of those people that make a deformed black character with neon pink afro hair, with a neon pink mustache and body hair??? With high pitch anime girl voice??? What's with that trend anyways??? Is there a joke I'm not getting??? Even Cammy in SF6 has a alt color for her classic leotard that has her with black skin and ugly neon pink hair... like what's the story there??? So you don't take it seriously?? Even for serious games?? I mean, you don't play a lot of RPGs I'm guessing. So the way your character looks when you DO play one is probably unimportant for you.

Chanko Stew

Why is it whenever i remember to check the Abyss again, it is substantially gayer than the last time?

LazyProcrastinator

It mostly comes from the original Oblivion, where no matter what you did, EVERY created character was essentially a horrible abomination. So it's become a tradition where, if in my tinkering of various sliders, the character starts leaning towards the "horrible abomination", I just go with it. I typically don't do bright neon colors, since that's grating on the eyes. I just make them look like something out of a Junji Ito story. There are some games where the character creator is actually really good and lends itself to good looking characters without leading into horrible abominations - Nioh 2, for example. But most break with just a few sliders. And most games don't have a story worth taking seriously. Especially ones you create a character with. The few exceptions tend to have very limited character creators anyway.

benz310

Btw…while I’m not particularly fond of the Ryza animations, that cell shaded pic up top is pretty cool. Are you doing an animation of that? I think you mentioned before that animating some of the Persona characters would look weird in someway in terms of proportions if I remember correctly. That one seems very nice and would be interesting to see that one animated. I admit I know nothing of the Persona series other than the fact that I have 3d printed model of Aegis that I did..

gaMerfUll

I just can't bring myself to ever meme my experience of a game. Doing such a thing would mean I'm bored as fuck, in wich case I wouldn't be playing the game to begin with. I have a game OC I always make, so I don't really have to think about it much. Just make sure I try to make them as visually tolerable as possible. I've honestly been kinda proud of myself with how "presentable" I've made my characters in Fromsoftware games. That is honestly the first boss fight of the game... dear lord.

LazyProcrastinator

Different strokes for different folks. I find the experience more enjoyable when there's a horrific abomination in a supposedly 'super serious' cutscene. And if I'm gonna make a proper "OC" for a game, it'll be a new one. I don't reuse the same characters, it's gotta be someone unique.

gaMerfUll

But that's the fun part! Making your usual OC look new within the world of the game. To make them fit. In GTA5 my girl look like a stoner (Unintentionally... everyone in that game looks awful....) In Cyberpunk I made my character fit their background (Completely pointless background) Here in SF6 I made - a different OC mind you - fit their current master. I finally found Cammy in the story, and I made my character look so fucking cool with Cammy's fighting stance! I was impressed with myself... And I'm not against people having fun with creatures from the darkest depths of the center of the world. But is not something I have fun with by myself. Watching YTbers and Streamers is a whole other thing. Surprised tho that the fellow who makes his own OCs (""""from scratch""")isn't really much into making legit characters in videogaims. (´-ω-`) Never tried doing some fembs, boy??

LazyProcrastinator

When I play video games, I like to have fun. And I find dumb characters breaking the tension in a cutscene to be hilarious, so it's more fun to me. As for why I don't like making legit ones, it's mostly because I loathe messing with sliders. It's not fun. And since I play games for fun, I'm not going to spend hours tinkering with sliders to get things the way I want them to be. If it was the same process in Blender where it's actually manipulating the model structure with sculpting and what not, I'd be able to do it since that's actually fun. But until that happens, horrible abominations are easier and more fun to make.

Oh, then let me introduce you to a very niche game called The Sims 4! A game that could quite honestly use some sliders. Because the grab and mold way can be very awkward sometimes. The more and more I learn about your gaming habits, the more I learn about yourself. I could even deduce how old you are! But, that's kinda depressing so I don't like to think about it. You could also just be a bastardly troll that thinks he's a YTber. The type that doesn't take any game seriously for the clicks. So spit it out, what's the name of your channel?? (´-ω-`)

It would need to be better than just grab and mold methods. Needs various types of tools to do more fine tuning, as sculpting has. I don't have one. Animating started out purely as a personal hobby, and I only posted my stuff on a whim. I could have just as easily been making all this content without releasing any of it. So all the dumb antics I do in video games are also stuff I do purely for my own amusement. Contrary to my boomer, stick-in-the-mud attitude, I can get entrainment out of things pretty easily.

Making my own fun is something I struggle with sometimes.... In my youth, I used to role-play by myself with non role-playing games. Since I couldn't afford new games and such. Now since I have a plethora of games and can afford my own. I never fuck around with a game in a way I'm not supposed to. Weird character, challenges, trophies... I just move on to the next thing. I mean, look how hard I gave up on 100% RE4R.... Weird little challenges don't entertain me anymore. Goofy stuff even less. And in the topic of game OCs. I'd like to admit that at some point long, long past. I restarted Skyrim from the beginning like 6 times, just because I wasn't satisfied with the character I did. And I believe Skyrim was the game that started my "Always female OC" habit. I actually beat my first Skyrim playthrough as.... Jesus.... Yeah... that's how little creativity I have with male OCs X3. Thus why I don't make them anymore.

LazyProcrastinator

I've always been able to amuse myself with the mundane of things. It's kind of funny how the stupidest of things can often amuse the hell out of me. Though achievement hunting isn't fun to me. I hunt for my "own" achievements. Since I've written a lot, I can make an OC on a whim. Male or female. I don't usually go too deep, though. Just a character trait or whatever. Never really role-play, either, since it's too much work. x)

gaMerfUll

Does any of your blender OCs have any of that "writing" spice sprinkled on them?? Or were they completely made using your southern brain? (´-ω-`)

LazyProcrastinator

There's a little bit here and there, but I don't have anything concrete or written down. Just vague ideas and what not, since that lets me change things on a whim if I want.

gaMerfUll

And oh, have you changed since stuff... Mostly added... doubled some, even! (´-ω-`)
