The Ramble Ramble (Pixiv Fanbox)
Content
Dumb title, I know, but it's mostly because I usually would be posting updates or rambles, but as of late I haven't been in a really rambly mood. Or rather, I haven't really been able to think of topics I want to ramble about. Updates... I more or less have the next couple of months covered already, and I don't want to blow my load early and show every single pose I've come up with for every character. I want there to be a small surprise element there, since you already know more or less who will be upcoming. But back to rambles, I mostly just don't have anything that really stands out as something I want to talk about. A lot of stuff I've already talked about before, but there's also just the fact that after the project, a lot of the stuff I do now is just second-nature instead of stuff I actively think about. Ideas for rambles usually would spring up when there's something I have to think to do and it just kind of comes naturally, but when everything is kind of auto-pilot, I don't have much that springs to mind. Also doesn't help that I'm not fully recovered, but I am getting there. Definitely feeling some of the mojo coming back. I also could just go non-sequiter and ramble about something completely unrelated, but I don't want to bore too many people with my dumb opinions about dumb things. I'd like there to be some relevancy to the main focus of my work, ie, 3D art, Blender, and smut.
So I guess I'll propose a question. Is there anything you'd like to hear me ramble about? Something I haven't touched on in regards to my process? Or perhaps just some general talk about Blender, 3D, or the like? I honestly don't think I have much insightful to say, but throughout the years I have had a number of people come to me asking for pointers, tips, and the like. I'm far from a master. I wouldn't even call myself an apprentice. But if there's something you want to know about what I do know, I can always ramble about it a bit. I've considered making a 'walkthrough' of how I rig my models in written form, but I do think that would be better as a video. It's not a super long process the way I do it, but the visual aspect of a video would help I think. I just need to prepare for that, so I don't have to do much editing while not making it too long. And I guess if you want to hear me ramble about dumb things, I could do that too, but I also don't really know what I'd talk about that would be interesting to anyone but me.
Anyway, what else... I'm sort of drafting some ideas for Halloween. I know it's early, but I'm just trying to toss the ideas around in my head and see what really grabs my attention. I want to actually know what I want to do ahead of time so I don't end up with a situation like last year where I try to do a bunch of ideas all at once and end up kind of overwhelmed and somewhat rushed. I'm gonna do some Halloween polls again, and I haven't decided on characters/costumes/themes, so if anyone's got ideas they'd like to see, feel free to toss them my way. Won't make promises that they'll actually show up, since it'll also depend on how I feel about the idea, but we shall see.
As for the poll, the winner is more or less decided at this point, but I'll let it go through to the date I set. The lead isn't insurmountable, but unlikely to be surmounted.
Lastly, I'm aware a lot of people are waiting for and wanting FFXVI content from me since the game is coming out this week, but don't expect anything from me anytime soon. I honestly have no interest in the game and can't even play it since I don't have a PS5. I also don't have any inclinations towards any of the characters, so I'm in no rush to do anything with them. I imagine that's disappointing to many, but that's just my feeling on the matter.
