Contrary to popular belief, trainees do have free time while residing within the dungeon. Some resting periods after especially exhausting sessions are necessary to regain stamina. Lower-ranking trainees don’t get as much freedom though, however, once a trainee reached a certain rank they’re relatively free to do whatever they want during their free time. Some just use the time to rest and recover, others are having fun with sports and other past-time activities and a few of them are socializing or even pursuing romantic relationships. Imagine how nice it must be to return to your room after an exhausting session, only to find your dungeon-sweetheart waiting for you in some revealing lingerie~
