Slice of Venture Remake Diary #7 (Pixiv Fanbox)

I'll keep on pestering you with that, sorry D: Please switch your pledge for those who haven't done it yet, thank you!

Time for a quicker post than usual. It will be about Akiko and Momoko.

Among all the female characters, there's only ONE character who's design has been the same since the very beginning: Akiko. And considering it's the only member of the Kurita family to have been created for SoVO (therefore not being a character owned by Butakoma), she's the only character with the same design between SoVO and SoVR.

Here you can see the evolution between the original SoV, then JFC remake (because she didn't have a final version) for Slice of Cards (when that was still a thing), and Peak's version for this game.

An old sage said: Why fix what isn't broken? She's the epitome of the mama character (even more than Reiko, to me.) So apart her breasts getting bigger and bigger everytime, I'd say keeping her design is good enough.

And then we have Momoko. That's a complete different story. For some reason, I didn't like her design in SoV and that's why she's the only one I requested a rework from JFC (I mean, from the characters of SoV because he also reworked Seth, Esther and Jezabelle.)

Just like with other characters I was bound with the votes and in the end, I didn't like the haircut, I didn't like the clothes, and I didn't even like her faceset. I think it can be easily seen in SoV because she's totally transparent there :x So after some trial and error with JFC, we came up with that version that some of you might not find THAT different but personally I like it much more :x

And of course, Peak just made her with his style by basing himself on JFC's version. After all, once again, no need to fix what ain't broken.

These two characters are the only ones that were left untouched for SoVR (I mean, on the female side of course :x). I still have some characters to show you (Mari, Misao, Anaëlle, Fubuki (I don't think I'm spoiling anything, I've already mentioned that Fubuki would be in the game.))

So yeah, more characters in the next post then a bit of talk.
