舞の好きなチーム WIP (Pixiv Fanbox)

This time I wanted to do a tribute from the classic ユリ&フレンズ [Yuri & friends] series published by 彩画堂 [Saigado]. While I was doing Shermie's team fan art last month, I came across with the cover page from [ユリ&フレンズフルカラー7]. Despite the artwork decreased in terms of quality in that issue, the colored pages made it look cool. If I am not wrong, Saigado is a dojin circle, which means that there might be more than a single illustrator. If you compare the artwork from the first volume (Yuri and Friends full color I) and the rest of issues, you will notice that some of them have a slightly different character design/style. Thus, I decided to do a "remake" of the seventh volume's cover keeping the whole team's pose but using a different character design style. I've been using Miyabi Sensei style for Mai which makes her look a little bit older. For the rest of partners, I am using references from the classic anime メジャー [Major] and the color palette/style from KOF 99.

This is a preliminary project progress report. Let's say it is about 60% of the total work. I have to check pen strokes, add shading and coloring, etc. Even Kensou's face looks a bit funny.
