隻眼の母 [Commission] (Pixiv Fanbox)

This is a recent commission project with a very unique character design. It was the first time for me to draw a one-eyed character. The description of the original request referred to a graduation ceremony with a mother and her son. The composition consisted of a two panel sequence "during" and "after" the ceremony. The references for the mother design was provided by the person who requested the commission. I was given instructions about the clothing and accessories she would be wearing. It was a fun project to work on.
