ロビンXチョッパー Project B (Pixiv Fanbox)

This illustration is an alternative version of the previous [ロビンXチョッパー] work. It was part of the same commission request series. The funny fact about the illustration process had to do with finding the approximate size difference between Robin and Chopper's base form. Something similar happened when I made another illustration which included Momonosuke and the girls from Straw hat crew. The posing in this work shows both characters from their backs view. I had to look for picture references around the web, but it was not easy to find images or screencaps showing Chopper's back.

As for Robin, I like the original character design from the Arabasta arch, which is why I used that color palette. I checked pictures from those episodes in order to do this illustration.

Robin & Chopper Project [ Version A ]

The original picture reference for this work corresponded to a 3D adult animated loop with characters from [Warcraft] video game. It was a dark lit mood couple scene. If I ever go back to continue with this fan-art illustration, I might consider adding a dark background to make it look like Robin and Chopper are facing each other within a cool cabin room.
