サイボーグ 009-1 [ WIP 01] (Pixiv Fanbox)

As I mentioned in previous posts, I went back at some old sketches when I started to think about doing fanart from classic works of animation. One of the first adult illustrations I made was inspired by Cyborg 009-1 [サイボーグ ゼロゼロナイン] animated series. Although I did not like the simple character design, the retro style and coloring made Mylene [ミレーヌ・ホフマン] a very appealing heroine.

This illustration was inspired while I was watching the seventh episode. I am trying to make a OVA scene like illustration fanart using a more precise style for both characters. I am trying to use the same color palette from the scene where Mylenne stays at her young friend's place. It is a small place at night, so I hope to accomplish a good background effect when it is complete.

Cyborg 009-1 Project Sample

This preliminary preview will be available for a few weeks. Next update shall depict the final version with the whole shading and background layers. I have lots of projects from Cyborg 009-1 series coming to share with you all.
