唯子 Project WIP 002 (Pixiv Fanbox)

This is the first post for fans. As described in the description for [Rank B tier], I will try to update my creative status weekly so you can have an idea about what projects I'm working.

Yuiko's [唯子] story is one of my favorite works among Sanbun Kyoden [山文京伝] Sensei's adult mangas. I often struggle trying to make fan art from his works with a more OVA/animated style. For instance, I spent several minutes and hours finding references for Yuiko's hair. The original character design is dynamic and simple, but makes it really hard to determine the places where I have to do the shading and add more details when doing my own version. The same goes for the color palette. The original design is made in a monochrome format. There are few colored illustrations where Yuiko is present In order to deal with that, this time I experimented using a color palette similar to Basilisk OVA [バジリスク〜桜花忍法帖〜], an animated serie with beautiful work of art, particularly the way ladies are designed.

This project is in my top list in terms of priority for March
