Ideas for more FANBOX content (Pixiv Fanbox)

I was thinking of offering more than just scenes and early looks in this here FANBOX.


I've thought about it, and I was thinking polls might be a good option. I think polls for single images (or variance sets, maybe) might be a good starting point, slowly growing into polls for bigger content. But I also don't know the best way to handle polls. I asked about polls earlier in the year, but now that I have a much more substantial following here on FANBOX, I want to ask again, what might be the best ways for me to do FAN-only polls for new content?


Would it be a good thing to add onto FAN-only content, do you think? I think if I gave a poll for characters, then an additional poll for what happened to them, that would work out. Ultimately, I will need to control the choice of characters, due to the availability (and potential lack therof) for models, but I don't plan on being limiting. I know I do mostly vtubers (and Touhou, technically, even if I haven't made a Touhou related thing in a while. That will change soon!), but I don't want those to be the only choices.

I wouldn't mind seeing polls or fanbox engagement - Although I'd rather whatever path helps you make more content in general - I've seen a lot of artists go poll based and burn out, feeling they're working on what they promised to everyone else more than what they love and want to see.

A poll with a selection of characters YOU are interested in making about + a poll about what YOU want to do to them would be great since it allows us followers some choice in decision making while making sure you get to work on what you want to do with lesser chances of getting burned out from making content you dislike

Voting feeds hunger to unsuccessful followers. Wouldn't it be better to solicit loose ideas? what do you want me to do I'm worried that the producer will quit due to the desire of his followers.

Fan only content is definitely a way to retain people if it's the sort of content you want to make. I don't see any issues with polls or even suggestions if your looking for more direct ideas of what your fans are looking forward to seeing more of. The people who are here following you do so because we enjoy what you make, but please never take them as anything more than suggestions. Make what interests you. Stars align, more people see your work and you gain a bigger following. But don't lock yourself into anything that's gonna cause you to hate making things.

Making a poll with choices I was already planning or wanted definitely seems like the way to go. I absolutely don't want to get into that locked mindset that poll artist's get into. I shall find some poll applications to test. I think I'll at least try a poll once to test the waters, see if we like it. I don't think there will be a poll anytime soon though, as I will be trying to focus on Blender for a bit (I'll make that announcement soon) Feel free to continue giving advice or ideas though, always need them.
