今年はこんな感じ。( ＾ω＾)

花が沢山咲いて、物凄い数の実が成ったんですが

7割くらいは鳥に食べられました。

ビニール被せてこれだから被せなかったら全滅だと思う。

There were many flowers and a tremendous number of fruits.

But about 70% of them were eaten by birds.

If we had not covered them with plastic, I think they would have been wiped out.

物凄く小さいです。

I know it's hard to tell from the picture.

It is very small.

It is about 1/3 the size of those on the market.

味は正直クソマズで、ほとんど甘みは無い。

こんな物を鳥は必死に奪い合ってたんだなぁと思うと、

まずいと思いながら食べるのは申し訳なくて。

少し味見して、残りは庭の木の枝に刺して鳥に贈呈しました。

不思議なもので、あれだけ奪い合ってたのに、枝に刺してるとあまり食べない。

何か警戒してるのだろうか。

The taste is honestly shitty and almost no sweetness.

When I think about how desperately the birds were competing for this stuff.

I felt sorry to eat it while thinking it was bad.

I tasted a little and presented the rest to the birds by sticking them in the branches of a tree in my garden.

It was strange, they were fighting so much, but when I stuck them on the branch, they didn't eat so much.

I wonder if they are wary of something.
